This four-star boutique property sits right in the beating heart of Gdańsk’s Old Town, and I mean literally — you’re surrounded by those gorgeous colorful merchant houses that make this city so photogenic. The building itself has that understated Polish charm that doesn’t scream for attention but quietly draws you in.

Location That Actually Matters

Here’s what I love about this spot — you can roll out of bed and be at the Neptune Fountain in about two minutes. The Main Town Hall? Maybe three minutes if you’re walking slowly. I’ve stayed in places that claim to be “centrally located,” but this one actually delivers on that promise with a perfect 10.0 location score. You know what’s really nice though? Despite being so central, Ogarna Street doesn’t get the crazy foot traffic of the main tourist drags, so you can actually get some sleep at night.

The Room Experience

The room I stayed in had this lovely blend of modern comfort and subtle nods to Gdańsk’s maritime heritage — nothing too heavy-handed, just tasteful touches that remind you where you are. The beds are genuinely comfortable (I’m picky about this), and the bathrooms are well-designed with good water pressure. What struck me most was the attention to detail — proper blackout curtains, decent Wi-Fi, and those little touches like quality toiletries that show someone actually cares about the guest experience. The apartment-style layout provides excellent functionality for extended stays.

The Neighborhood Vibe

Being right in the historic center means you’re surrounded by some fantastic dining options — honestly, you could eat at a different restaurant every night for a week without walking more than five minutes. The famous Gdańsk Crane is practically next door, and if you’re into amber shopping (this is amber central, after all), you’ll find plenty of authentic shops nearby. I particularly enjoyed the evening walks along the Motława River, which starts just steps from the hotel entrance. The area offers excellent parking facilities for those arriving by car.
