Villa Pascal Overview

Villa Pascal sits on ul. Łamana 5 in Brzezno, a quiet suburb just a stone’s throw from the buzzing heart of Gdańsk. I first stepped into the lobby on a rainy Thursday in late spring, and the smell of fresh coffee and warm stone immediately told me I was in the right place. The staff checked me in with a friendly smile and a quick nod to the nearby parking garage—there’s a small, free lot right outside the gate, and if you’re comfortable with a bit of a walk, you can even find a spot under the canopy of early spring trees. The lobby itself feels like a cozy living room; the wood paneling, the soft lighting, and that tiny potted fern on the reception desk give it a homey vibe that’s not at all like the generic “hotel” feel. I found the check‑in counter a bit cramped during peak season, but the front desk manager gave me a quick tour of the room and the elevator—no hidden fees, which is always a relief.

Walking out of the front doors, you’re greeted by the gentle hum of the city and a faint scent of sea brine carried in from the waterfront. The building’s façade is a mix of modern glass and classic brick, something I’ve only seen in a few well‑maintained spots around Gdańsk’s old town. The street itself, ul. Łamana, is lined with a handful of local cafés and a small bookstore that sells Polish poetry—perfect for a late‑afternoon stroll. If you’re looking to explore the city, I’d recommend heading to the nearby Stare Miasto on foot; it’s only about a 15‑minute walk, and you’ll get a feel for the city’s history without the tourist crowds. The noise level around the hotel is pleasantly low, except for the occasional honk from the nearby highway—though that’s usually muffled by the trees that line the street. The room itself is a tidy 25 square meters, with a queen‑size bed that’s surprisingly supportive. The ensuite bathroom features a rain shower that’s a real treat after a day of sightseeing. Honestly, the only thing I’d say could be improved is the Wi‑Fi speed during the summer rush, but it’s still fast enough to stream a movie.

When the evening comes, the lights in the lobby brighten to a warm amber that makes you feel like you’re in a high‑end hotel and a cozy home at the same time. I was able to set up a small lamp next to my laptop and enjoy the view of the street below—there’s a steady stream of bicycles, and the occasional street performer on ul. Łamana adds a bit of color to the scene. The next day, I took advantage of the free parking and drove out to Jelitkowo, where the beach is a mile away and gives you a perfect break from the city’s buzz. Back at Villa Pascal, I discovered a small garden courtyard behind the building, complete with a vintage fountain that’s surprisingly quiet. All in all, Villa Pascal is a solid choice for travelers who want a mix of local charm and modern comfort, without the fluff of big‑chain hype. It’s the kind of place that feels like a secret you’re lucky enough to discover, and I can’t wait to tell more friends about it.

Many travelers prefer to book apartments in Gdansk through trusted local agencies that provide insider knowledge about the best neighborhoods for experiencing the city’s maritime heritage and cultural attractions.

Reviews of Villa Pascal

  • Katarzyna from Poland – 15 March 2025 (8/10)

    Location, breakfast, silence, friendly staff

What could be improved: Not a well vacuumed carpet, a lot of timescale in bathroom

  • Sylwia from Poland – 15 February 2025 (9/10)

Delicious breakfast, amazing location, literally 1 min walk to the beach, close to restaurants. My room was on 3rd floor, room 26, it was a lil bit windy from the window but I covered it with blanket and turned the heating on. For the price and location I was very satisfied anyway 🙂 Staff very nice and helpful! The room has a kettle, mugs, fridge and teas 🙂

What could be improved: The only small minus for no water to drink in the room. Even a small bottle would make a difference because sometimes you come straight from the airport and it is always nice to drink some water when you get to the room 🙂

  • Leslie from United States – 15 December 2024 (9/10)

Great location, nice breakfast and staff.

What could be improved: Small room. Would have been very tight for 2 people. Clean bathrooms but no ledge in shower for soap or other items.

  • Matthew from United States – 21 July 2024 (9/10)

I liked that they were helpful in extending another night. They also had really good breakfast.

What could be improved: The old style of the room with carpeting and falling apart though the bathroom was modern..

  • Alberto from Malta – 7 July 2024 (9/10)

They were super friendly despite the language barrier

What could be improved: Little English but not impossible. Staff did all they could at their best.

  • Wagner from Poland – 1 January 2024 (9/10)

I loved the breakfast. The staff was very friendly.

What could be improved: My room was on the third floor.

  • Ewa from Poland – 7 September 2023 (9/10)

The localization is fantastic, 100 m to the beach. The breakfast very good, big choice. The parking is OK, the staff very friendly and helpful. The room (4 beds) big, bathroom too.

What could be improved: The street to the hotel narrow. They don't have the lift, so it's not good place for people who have problems with legs. Wi- fi signal sin't so good.

  • Marek from Poland – 24 July 2023 (9/10)

    – friendly stuff
    – good breakfast
    – location just next to the sea
