Unique Apartments – Browar Gdański Overview

Unique Apartments – Browar Gdański sits on Joachima Lelewela 6D, right on the fringe of the Old Town, just a stone‑throw from the bustling Motława River. I remember walking in on a crisp autumn evening, the sky a bruised purple, and the aroma of freshly brewed coffee drifting from the neighbouring cafés. The building itself feels like a secret loft in the city – a mix of modern glass and classic brick that matches the vibe of the surrounding streets like Długa and Gdańska. The front lobby is small but cozy, with a small bar that serves a decent selection of local beers, which is a nod to the historic brewery that once stood where the hotel now sits. Check‑in was quick, the staff handed me a key card that’s surprisingly sleek, and they gave me a map that included the best hidden spots, like the tiny bakery on Jagiellońska or the art‑filled courtyard behind the cathedral. (Honestly, I didn’t expect this level of local insight from a hotel.)

When I unpacked in my apartment, the view was nothing short of spectacular – a panoramic window that frames the skyline of Gdańsk, the old Town Hall, and the river in full swing. The room feels like a personal studio: the walls are painted in muted tones, the sofa is plush, and there’s a small kitchen area that has a full set of utensils – perfect if you’re planning a “stay‑in” night. I found the noise level to be surprisingly low, even though the hotel is right next to the main thoroughfare. The only sound that intrudes is the distant hum of traffic, but it’s muffled by the thick windows and the building’s design. Parking is a breeze – there’s a covered lot just a block away, and the attendants are friendly, though I’d recommend bringing a small bag of snacks if you’re staying late, because the night shift can be a bit quiet. The apartment also comes with a smart TV and a decent Wi‑Fi signal, which is a lifesaver after a day of sightseeing.

Summer is the busiest time, with the Old Town bustling like an electric hive, but if you’re looking for a more relaxed vibe, visit in the shoulder months of May or September. The streets are less crowded, the air cooler, and the local markets still full of fresh produce. The best time to hit the rooftop terrace is around sunset, when the city lights start to flicker and the sound of laughter spills out from the cafés below – it’s a perfect way to unwind after exploring the historic port. I’d love to stay here again; the combination of authentic local flavor, thoughtful amenities, and a genuine sense of place makes Unique Apartments – Browar Gdański stand out. The only thing I’d tweak is the room service menu – a few more Polish classics would make it even more special. All in all, it’s a hidden gem that I’ll recommend to my friends without hesitation.

Reviews of Unique Apartments – Browar Gdański

  • Jessica from United Kingdom – 24 March 2025 (8/10)

Lovely spacious apartment, it was lovely to sit on the balcony with a coffee in the morning.

What could be improved: Nothing disappointed us 🙂

  • Jessica from United Kingdom – 1 October 2024 (8/10)

    very homley warm and comfortable

  • Blessing from Czech Republic – 22 June 2024 (8/10)

The location was few minutes away to the location of the conference we travelled for, and the apartment felt homely because we had access to needed facilities.

What could be improved: The bed was too small. Also we booked the apartment for 4 but just 3 could eventually stay because it’s a small space

  • Rokas from Lithuania – 19 June 2024 (9/10)

What could be improved: Just a single downside was a fridge, which was running quite loudly, but not a deal breaker.

  • Nikitosboba7833 from Belarus – 11 May 2024 (8/10)

Really great flat with modern design and super location.

What could be improved: Everything was good

  • Szymon from Netherlands – 13 April 2024 (8/10)

Perfect location for shopping and going out. As we had a camp in Fly Spot Gdansk it was perfect to use public transport to the Airport. The apartment was very clean, quiet and ideal to accommodate 2 people or 2 couples. Easy check in and check out as no keys necessary.

  • Adam from United Kingdom – 29 December 2023 (8/10)

Excellent location and quality of the flat. Was particularly impressed with Unique Apartments customer care. Very responsive, no matter what time it is. Great overall, will definitely return.

What could be improved: Fantastic overall, cannot complain.

  • Ani from Poland – 15 December 2023 (8/10)

The location was good and apartment was very nice.

What could be improved: I had booked from 1st to 11 December and requested check in at 12am on 1st due to my night flight and host agreed but on arrival i was not granted entry due to host misunderstanding which made me spend extra on a hotel instead for the 1st night. It was very stressful and annoying after a long journey to wait 4 hours for entry and then being told we couldn’t get an apartment we had already paid for. But later in the day everything was made available but that misunderstanding cost me 100dollars not good!

  • Edmund from Poland – 30 November 2023 (9/10)

  • Charles from United Kingdom – 4 October 2023 (8/10)

Easy, but they need they code on the keys

What could be improved: Having no curtain on the window next to the mirror. Haha, when you getting changed, the whole neighbour can see.
Not have the fridge switched on.
