The Columbus – Nadmorze Premium Overview
The Columbus – Nadmorze Premium is tucked in a quiet corner of Brzezno, just a few blocks from the buzzing heart of Gdańsk. I first spotted it when I was strolling down 9A Ignacego Krasickiego, a street that feels like a hidden lane through the city’s history. You know what, the building itself is a neat blend of old brick and modern glass—like a postcard that actually exists. The lobby is surprisingly cozy, with a soft jazz playlist that doesn’t drown out the distant chatter of café owners. I’ve stayed there twice now, once in the low‑season lull of September and again when the summer heat hit its peak, and it’s been a consistent delight.
The check‑in was a breeze, thanks to the staff’s friendly, almost conversational vibe. They greeted me with a warm “Witaj!” and a quick tour of the rooms, pointing out the small touches that make a stay feel personal—the locally sourced tea sachets, the hand‑woven throw that smells faintly of pine. Parking is a plus; there’s a free underground spot right by the entrance, which is a lifesaver when the city’s streets are packed with scooters and bicycles. I mean, you can drop your bag, grab a coffee from the tiny café on the corner of Ignacego Krasickiego, and head into town without the usual hassle of hunting for a spot.
Rooms are a solid 4‑star experience, no bells or whistles that feel forced. The bed is an honest, comfy platform that wakes you up feeling rested, not like a lie‑dow. The view? On a clear day, you can actually see the Old Town’s rooftops and the distant pier where the fishermen unload their catch. The bathroom is a clean, uncluttered space with a rain shower that feels like a mini spa session—though it’s not a spa, it’s a pleasant surprise. I love the little window seat with a view of the street; I’ve spent hours there, sipping espresso and watching the world move past. The noise level is usually just right; the city’s hum is present but not intrusive, and the rooms are well‑sound‑proofed against the occasional late‑night train rumble.
The hotel’s location is a secret gem. A short walk north takes you to the bustling street of Gdańsk’s Old Town, where you can wander past the ornate St. Mary’s Church and the bustling market stalls. If you’re in the mood for a quieter afternoon, just turn onto the quieter side streets—there’s a little garden café on the corner of Słowackiego that serves the best homemade pierogi. The hotel’s proximity to the beach is another plus; a 15‑minute walk along the harbor brings you to the sandy coast, where the sunrise over the Baltic is nothing short of magical. I remember one morning, the pier was almost empty, and the only sound was the distant gulls and the gentle slap of waves—pure serenity.
Honestly, what stands out most is how the hotel feels like a local’s favorite spot rather than a corporate chain. The staff’s attention to detail—like the extra towel that feels thick and fluffy—makes you feel cared for. The only minor critique? The Wi‑Fi can be spotty in the older rooms, but they offer a free hotspot in the lobby, which is usually fine for most travelers. It’s also worth noting that peak season—late July and August—can bring a livelier crowd, so if you prefer a quieter vibe, aim for early September or late October. Those times are still warm enough for a beach walk, but the streets are less crowded, and the local cafés are more relaxed.
All in all, The Columbus – Nadmorze Premium is a solid pick for anyone looking to immerse themselves in Gdańsk’s charm without sacrificing comfort. The touches that make the stay feel authentic—local coffee, warm staff, and a location that bridges the city’s history with its present—make it a memorable stop on any travel itinerary. If you’re planning a trip to northern Poland, I’d say drop by, enjoy a latte at the front desk, and let the hotel’s subtle hospitality guide you through the city’s hidden treasures.
Gdansk’s hotels showcase the perfect blend of Hanseatic tradition and modern comfort, with many featuring maritime tour services and authentic Polish coastal hospitality.

Reviews of The Columbus – Nadmorze Premium
Magdalena from Poland – 19 May 2025 (9/10)
Mieszkanie śliczne, przestronne, urządzone z bardzo dużą starannoscią o szczegóły, położone w super lokalizacji (5-10 minut do morza), czyściutkie, wyposażone w najpotrzebniejsze sprzęty. Cicha i bardzo ładna okolica. Zaraz przy wyjściu z osiedla przystanek autobusowy i tramwajowy umożliwiający transport do centrum miasta. W okolicy sklepy spożywcze oraz kilka restauracji. Bardzo polecam 🙂

Apartament dobrze urządzony, w dobrej lokalizacji. Cisza, spokój.
What could be improved: Apartament był niedokładnie wysprzatany, dużo kurzu.Kamil from Poland – 15 October 2024 (8/10)
What could be improved: Taras był nie odkurzony.
Roman from Poland – 19 August 2024 (8/10)
Apartament na poziomie i warto jechać dla odpoczynku, nie było najmniejszej możliwości do narzekania, choćbym chciał coś negatywnie skomentować to nie mogę, ponieważ mieliśmy wszystkiego ponad nasze oczekiwanie.
Sissel from Norway – 2 July 2024 (8/10)
What could be improved: Informasjon om nøkkelkode og dørlås var dårlig. Vi ba om innsjekking kl 15.00. Vi fikk tilsendt kode kl 16.00. Da hadde vi stått en time ute i forferdelig regnvær . Dørlåsen var vanskelig å få opp, måtte be nabo om hjelp.
Paweł from Poland – 29 August 2023 (8/10)
16.00) z placów zabaw, boiska do koszykówki i piłki nożnej. Lokalizacja – bardzo blisko do plaży ( 5-7min)
