First Impressions

Walking up to Seaside Modern in the Brzezno district, you immediately get that “this is going to be good” feeling. The building has this clean, contemporary look that actually lives up to its name — it’s not trying too hard to be trendy, but there’s definitely a modern edge to everything. I mean, you’re literally steps from the Baltic Sea here, and the whole setup feels like someone really thought about how to make the most of that location.

The Brzezno Advantage

Here’s what I love about staying in Brzezno instead of central Gdańsk — you get this perfect balance of seaside calm without being completely cut off from the city. The beach is right there (and I mean right there), but you can still hop on public transport and be in the Old Town in about 20 minutes. Honestly, after spending a day wandering around the tourist crowds in the main city, coming back to this quieter neighborhood feels like a smart choice. The pier stretches out into the Baltic, and there’s something really satisfying about taking evening walks along it.

The Room Experience

The room I stayed in had floor-to-ceiling windows that made the space feel much bigger than it probably was. Everything’s done in these neutral tones — whites, grays, some warm wood accents — which sounds boring but actually creates this really calming atmosphere. The bed was properly comfortable (you know how hit-or-miss hotel beds can be), and there’s enough storage space that you’re not living out of your suitcase. What really got me was the attention to small details — good lighting for reading, USB ports where you actually need them, that sort of thing.

Dining and Amenities

The restaurant downstairs serves this interesting mix of Polish and international dishes, and they clearly know what they’re doing with seafood — which makes sense given where you are. Breakfast was solid without being fancy, though I found myself eating out on the terrace most mornings because, well, why wouldn’t you when you’re this close to the water? There’s also a small spa area that’s perfect for unwinding after a day of exploring, and parking is available if you’re driving (which in this part of Gdańsk is actually pretty convenient).

Why Guests Love It

This four-star place really nails what couples are looking for — it’s got that romantic seaside setting without feeling like a cheesy resort. You can have quiet mornings by the water, explore Gdańsk’s incredible history during the day, and come back to somewhere that feels like a proper retreat. The staff seems to understand that people come here to actually relax, not to be constantly entertained. It’s one of those places where you end up staying an extra night because leaving feels like too much effort — and honestly, that’s exactly the kind of problem you want to have on vacation.

  Samodzielne zameldowanie i wymeldowanie. Mieszkanie w bloku w spokojnej okolicy blisko morza. Mieszkanie zgodne ze zdjęciami, jasne i czyste. Na miejscu znajdziesz wszystko czego potrzeba na krótki i dłuższy pobyt (garnki, zmywarka + kostki, żelazko, suszarka). Dobry kontakt z gospodarzem – na miejscu brakuje informacji o podłączeniu do wifi, ale po wysłaniu wiadomości od razu otrzymałam odpowiedź.
  
  What could be improved: Łóżko samo w sobie było wygodne, jednak komfort snu był niwelowany przez poliestrowe kołdry i pościel. Dodatkowo pościel nie miała klipsów, przez co to można było się obudzić rano i mieć wszystko rozkopane. W mieszkaniu przydałby się filtr do wody, prosto z kranu woda jest mętna. W łazience należy wymieć uchwyt na papier toaletowy – po dotknięciu ręką odpada 😅. Na Booking informacja o płatności na miejscu jednak całość została pokryta przez kartę przed przyjazdem. Jeżeli jest to spowodowane zmianą płatności, warto to zmienić na stronie.

  Apartmán / byt krásný. Dostatek parkovací plochy u domu. Blízko k moři, blízko k zastávce tramvaje, která jede na hlavní nádraží a do centra (tramvaj č.3). Lístky koupíte v automatu na zastávce. Projděte centrum, navštivte katedrálu. Jeďte vlakem z centra na Malbork. Pokud jedete PR vlakem, je to velmi levné. Blízko do supermarketu – Lidl, Biedronka. Rychlé WiFi připojení.
  
  What could be improved: Apartmán je nově rekonstruovaný byt ve standardním bytovém domě na sídlišti. Výhled z okna není moc zábavný. Apartmán je ve 3,5 patře bez výtahu. Pro starší návštěvníky to může být problém.
