Rad House Przymorze Overview
Rad House Przymorze sits on gen. Bora‑Komorowskiego 88a, right on the edge of the city’s old port area, so you’ll feel the sea breeze even when you’re inside. I first walked up the street on a rainy Tuesday, and the building’s white façade looked almost like a fresh coat of paint – a nice touch against the gray Gdańsk weather. The lobby is surprisingly bright, with a mix of mid‑century and contemporary furniture, and the staff greet you with a warm “Dzień dobry” in that hushed Polish tone that makes you feel instantly at home. The check‑in is quick; the desk manager pulls your key card out with a friendly smile, and you’re handed a small brochure that actually lists the best local coffee spots.
When you step into the room, the view is a little mix of the Baltic and the old wooden warehouses. I found the bed was a bit firmer than I’d like, but the mattress topper made it comfortably forgiving – not too soft that you lose support, not too hard that you feel every seam. The en suite bathroom is a dream, honestly: a large walk‑in shower with a rain‑shower head that feels like a spa, a deep soaking tub, and the paint in a muted teal that’s calming. The tiny little details you’d love: a plush bathrobe, a jar of local honey, a small coffee mug that says “Gdańsk.” The room’s window is close enough that you can hear the waves at night, which is oddly peaceful after a day of sightseeing.
The location is actually a perk you won’t find in the typical travel guide. You’re a stone’s throw from the street café on Ulica Trąbka, where the barista knows your name and the espresso tastes like it was made just for you. A few minutes’ walk gets you to the Przymorze Pier, and you can watch the fishermen haul in their catches before the sunset. For a night out, there’s a hidden bar a block away on Słowackiego that serves craft cocktails with a local twist – the bartender will ask you if you want a “piwo z brzegów” (beer from the shore) which is basically a crisp lager with a hint of citrus. If you’re looking for history, the nearby St. Nicholas Church is a quick five‑minute walk, and its bell tower offers a panoramic view that’s worth the climb.
Parking is a bit of a mixed bag. There’s a paid underground lot right across the street, but it’s usually full on weekends. The streets themselves are narrow, so if you’re a car person, it can feel a bit chaotic. On the bright side, the hotel offers a free bike rack, and you can rent a bike from the station on Gdańsk’s main street, Ostróda – the cycling scene here is vibrant, and you’ll get a real feel for the city. Noise-wise, the hotel’s on a quiet street, but be prepared for the occasional traffic hum from the nearby highway, especially late at night. The staff are quick to address any concerns; if you’re sensitive to sounds, a white‑noise machine is available upon request, and the windows are soundproof enough to block out the street chatter.
The service is consistently friendly, but there are a few things I’d tweak. The breakfast buffet is decent – think hearty Polish pastries and fresh fruit – but it’s a bit cramped during peak hours. I’d suggest arriving a bit earlier if you’re an early bird. The Wi‑Fi is spotty in the rooms, but the lobby area has a stronger signal, so if you need to catch up on emails, you can do it there. The only real downside is the slightly high price during peak season, but given the quality and the vibe, it’s a fair trade. Overall, Rad House Przymorze feels like a home base that’s both modern and steeped in local culture. The staff treat you like a friend, the rooms are clean and comfortable, and the location lets you step straight into Gdańsk’s heartbeat – the sea, the cafés, the hidden bars – all within a short walk. If you’re planning a trip to northern Poland, this place is solid, and honestly, it might just be the highlight of your stay.
Hotel in Gdansk booking should be done early, especially during summer festivals when the city hosts internationally celebrated cultural and maritime events.

Spore wyposażenie mieszkania, naczynia, garnki, patelnie i inne potrzebne rzeczy.
What could be improved: Łazienka troszkę mała. Ktoś mniejszy jak ja się zmieści spokojnie, ale ktoś większy może mieć problem z poruszaniem się w niej.Folczyński from Poland – 27 May 2025 (9/10)

Polecam:)
