Prestige Apart Gdańsk Overview

Prestige Apart Gdańsk sits right on 6 Sienna Grobla, smack in the heart of the old town, and honestly, the moment you step through the door you know you’re in for a good time. The reception desk is near the tram stop on Gdańska Street, so getting around is a breeze – you can hop on a tram to the waterfront in just a few minutes. The staff are friendly enough, but the keycard system can feel a little clunky the first time you try it; I had to ask the front desk for a quick tutorial, and they were patient. Parking is a bit of a hassle – there’s a paid garage right next to the building, but it can fill up on weekends, so you might have to park a block north on Sienna Grobla and walk a few minutes to the lobby. The building itself is a mix of old brick and modern glass, giving it a vibe that feels like a blend between a historic inn and a sleek apartment hotel. The room I stayed in had a small balcony that looked out onto the cobblestone streets, and the view of the Crane Tower was a nice touch. The bed was comfy – the mattress wasn’t over-foam, which is a relief after a long flight, and the linens were crisp. I did notice a faint scent of the sea wafting in from the balcony, probably from the nearby port, which added to the atmosphere. The kitchen area is surprisingly functional; there’s a mini‑fridge, a kettle, and a decent set of utensils, so you can whip up a quick breakfast if you’re not in the mood for the on‑site café. Wi‑Fi is good in the living area, but in the bedroom it can be spotty – I had to move closer to the window to get a stable connection.

When you’re looking for a bite, Prestige Apart Gdańsk is a stone’s throw from several local gems. I grabbed a coffee at Kawiarnia 5 on Piwna Street – the latte was creamy, and the barista knew my name after a few visits. For lunch, I walked down to Hala Gdańska, where the fish market is buzzing all day long; the smell of fresh cod and the sight of the market stalls is a sensory treat. If you’re into history, you’re right next to the medieval town hall and the streets are lined with historic facades that look like something out of a postcard – though the cobblestones are a bit uneven, so watch your step at night. The area is lively during the summer, with street performers and markets, but if you’re a night owl, the streets quiet down early, which makes for a peaceful night’s sleep, even though the tram whistles occasionally break the silence. I did pick up a few souvenirs from a small shop on Plac Wolności, but overall, the noise level is manageable.

Practical tips – if you’re planning to stay during the holiday season, book early, because the area gets crowded and the parking lot can fill up fast. The check‑in process is quick, but make sure you have the QR code handy, as the keycard system requires scanning. The staff are helpful but can be a bit overwhelmed during peak times, so patience goes a long way. I’d recommend grabbing a map of the tram lines the first day; the network is extensive, and a day pass can save you a lot of hassle. And if you’re a foodie, explore the street vendors on Długi Targ – they serve the best pierogi in town, and the aroma alone will lure you in. Overall, Prestige Apart Gdańsk blends the charm of an old Polish city with the convenience of a modern stay, making it a solid choice for anyone wanting to soak up Gdańsk’s history without sacrificing comfort.

Early hotels booking in Gdansk requires advance planning during peak summer seasons when visitors flock to enjoy the city’s beautiful beaches and rich maritime culture.

Reviews of Prestige Apart Gdańsk

  • Nageen from Poland – 9 May 2025 (8/10)

location was superb, apartment was clean. Washing machine, dishwasher, clean beddings, everything was great.
Everything was available at walking distance 🙂
Zabka, resturants, land marks to see….

What could be improved: There was no shampoo no body wash.
only 2 dishwashing tablets were placed, where as we stayed for 5 days. Not enough tea/coffee
The owner told us someone will come with extra supplies, but no one ever came. I gave him reminder also but still nothing was provided. It was disappointing

  • Waldemar from United Kingdom – 6 April 2025 (9/10)

good location. everything you need is available

What could be improved: the electric cables from the TV hanging on the wall are not secured, it looks very ugly and is dangerous

  • Sinead from Ireland – 23 February 2025 (9/10)

    Location great, facilities great

What could be improved: Bed wasn’t comfy and no wifi

  • Aeshah from Finland – 18 October 2024 (8/10)

    Everything was clean and comfortable

  • Zubaida from Sweden – 27 June 2024 (9/10)

The apartment and building are very modern.. and the decor is wonderful and luxurious.. all facilities are available.. and very clean.

What could be improved: Reaching the apartment's location is difficult, as I spent more than half an hour searching for the apartment building

  • Mberi from Poland – 12 June 2024 (9/10)

I loved the location, and they even checked us in earlier

What could be improved: The backyard was too open and no privacy

  • Lauma from Latvia – 10 May 2024 (8/10)

    The location was amazing.

What could be improved: The bed sheets on one of the beds were rough and had a hole in them. Didnt have all the necessary kitchen supplies.

  • Md from Bangladesh – 30 April 2024 (8/10)

The Location is good. The apartment is good for families.

What could be improved: It lacks toiletries a bit. I had to manage some of it by myself.😔😔

  • Barbara from Ireland – 23 April 2024 (9/10)

It was very spacious, exceptionally clean and modern. The property was also very near to the Old Town…everything was in walking distance

  • Aleksandra from United Kingdom – 8 April 2024 (8/10)

Property was gorgeous, so clean and had basically everything we needed, there was a coffee machine however there were no coffee pods which would of been a nice addition to add instead of having to buy a whole pack which would end up being wasted as wouldn’t use all, really easy to find and location was nice, walking distance/ cheap Uber to some nice locations. Highly highly recommend

What could be improved: Not really a dislike but would be nice for some outside seating, especially in the summer would be a nice touch!
