PREMIUM Apartment KINGDOM on the Motława River- Free parking Overview

First Impressions

Walking up to PREMIUM Apartment KINGDOM on the Motława River, you immediately understand why couples give this place a perfect 10 for location. I mean, you’re literally steps from the historic waterfront in Gdańsk’s Old Town — the kind of spot where you can hear the gentle lapping of the Motława River from your window. The building itself sits on Chmielna Street, and honestly, finding free parking in this part of the city feels like winning the lottery. Most visitors end up paying hefty fees or walking forever from distant lots, but here it’s just included.

The Heart of Gdańsk

This four-star apartment puts you right in the thick of everything that makes Gdańsk special. You’re a two-minute walk from the iconic Neptune Fountain and maybe five minutes from St. Mary’s Church — that massive Gothic cathedral that dominates the skyline. What I love about this location is that you can actually explore the cobblestone streets of the Main Town on foot, ducking into amber shops and traditional Polish restaurants without ever needing to figure out public transport. The riverside promenade is perfect for evening strolls, especially when the historic granary buildings light up after dark.

The Apartment Experience

The space itself feels more like a well-appointed city apartment than a typical hotel room, which makes sense given the name. You get that independence of having your own place — a proper kitchen if you want to grab groceries from the local market, separate living areas where you can actually spread out. The river views are the real showstopper though. There’s something quite peaceful about watching boats drift by on the Motława while you’re having your morning coffee, especially knowing that just outside your door is one of Poland’s most beautiful historic centers.

Practical Comforts

The continental breakfast keeps things simple but satisfying — fresh bread, local cheeses, and decent coffee to fuel your sightseeing. What really sets this place apart is how they’ve thought through the practical stuff that matters to travelers. That free parking I mentioned? It’s actually on-site, so you’re not dragging luggage through narrow medieval streets. The apartment setup means you can store leftovers from those generous Polish restaurant portions, and honestly, having a proper fridge and some counter space makes a difference when you’re staying more than a night or two.

Why Guests Love It

With a 9.4 rating and that perfect location score of 9.9, PREMIUM Apartment KINGDOM on the Motława River clearly gets the fundamentals right. It’s that rare combination of being in the absolute center of everything while still feeling like you have your own peaceful retreat. You can walk to the Green Gate, explore Długi Targ (Long Market), or catch a boat tour without any planning — just step outside and you’re there. For couples especially, there’s something romantic about having the river right there and the freedom to create your own rhythm in such a historically rich setting.
