Na Fali Overview
Na Fali sits on Turystyczna 104 B, right in the heart of Gdańsk’s bustling district, and honestly, that’s a sweet spot if you’re looking to soak up the city’s vibe. The first thing that hits you when you step into the lobby is the unmistakable scent of fresh coffee and a faint hint of the sea that lingers from the nearby Motława River—like a welcome nod from the city itself. Check‑in is quick; the front desk staff are friendly but a bit rushed, so if you’re arriving late, you might have to wait a minute for your room key. They’ll hand you a map, but I actually found the one on the hotel’s website more useful, especially because it highlights the nearest tram stop, which is just a two‑minute walk to the Old Town square and a 15‑minute ride to the historic Westerplatte memorial.
The rooms are a mix of classic and modern. I booked a standard double in the fourth floor, and the bed was incredibly comfortable—think memory foam that actually remembers your shape. The view from the balcony? It’s a quiet corner of the city, so you’ll hear the distant bells of St. Mary’s Church, but you’ll also catch the hum of traffic from the nearby streets—nothing too loud. The minibar is stocked, but the Wi‑Fi can be a bit spotty on the lower floors during peak hours (that’s a minor gripe, but you can always move to a higher floor). I appreciated the well‑placed blackout curtains, which made the room a perfect retreat after a long day of sightseeing. The bathroom is spotless, with a rainfall shower that feels like a mini‑spa, though the hot water sometimes takes a moment to reach the perfect temperature.
Parking is a breeze because the hotel has a small underground lot right behind the building. You’ll need to pay, of course, but the rates are reasonable compared to other 4‑star options in the city. And you know what? The parking spot is usually free of car horns—quite a relief in a city that can feel like a bustling harbor at rush hour. The noise level inside the hotel is surprisingly low, thanks to the thick windows and the staff’s attention to soundproofing. I did hear a few conversations from the next room, but it was just the usual background chatter you’d expect in a busy urban hotel. The staff are helpful and genuinely enthusiastic about local culture, so they’ll give you the best tips for a quick getaway to the beach in the summer or a cozy café around the Żur Bridge in the winter.
If I had to point out a critique, it’s that the lobby’s art pieces feel a tad too modern for my taste—though that’s purely subjective. Also, the hotel’s breakfast buffet is decent, but you’ll have to brave a short wait during the busy mornings; it’s not a 24‑hour affair, so plan accordingly. But all in all, Na Fali feels like a home base that offers both comfort and a genuine sense of place. You’ll find yourself stepping out onto the street, hearing the street musicians playing Polish folk tunes, and feeling the city’s pulse in your shoes. It’s a place that’s not just a hotel but a part of Gdańsk’s everyday life. If you’re looking for a 4‑star stay with a rating that’s practically perfect—9.8, to be exact—you’ll find that Na Fali delivers with a warm, almost family‑friendly vibe that makes you want to linger a little longer.
To book hotel in Gdansk during the famous St. Dominic’s Fair season, visitors should make reservations well in advance as the city attracts maritime enthusiasts and history lovers from around the world.

Ubytování bylo velmi pěkné, čisté, prostorné a pohodlné. Lokalita byla rovněž skvělá- klidná, krásná procházka lesem k moři. Vše skvělé. Pan domácí byl velmi příjemný a vstřícný. Skvělé místo pro dovolenou.

Przesympatyczny, chętny do pomocy Gospodarz.

Komfortowy dom w cichej okolicy. Idealny dla grupy 8-osobowej. Cicho i spokojnie.
What could be improved: Drobny minusik – to problem z gorącą wodą. Raz leciała gorąca, a raz zimna.

What could be improved: Prysznic był lekko popsuty i nie trzymał się uchwytu.Główka from Poland – 28 April 2025 (10/10)
Bardzo miły wlaciciel, bardzo dobra lokalizacja

Stas from Poland – 26 June 2023 (10/10)
The host is so kind and polite and caring. The location is good. The sea is not far and the environment is quiet and beautiful.
Rimantas from Lithuania – 21 August 2022 (10/10)
Location was quiet and comfy. We were seven, including two small children. There was enough space for everyone, even one room was left unused. Be prepared to exercise if you have small children. The path to the sea on foot is not for the lazy.
Valerybond from Poland – 8 August 2022 (10/10)
Great house with lots of space. The house has everything you would need. The place is quiet and close to the beach. The host was very nice.
What could be improved: Weather is tricky 🙂 Mosquitoes might bother you if you want to have a dinner outside.
