Maya’s Flats & Resorts 26 – Panorama View Overview
Maya’s Flats & Resorts 26 – Panorama View is tucked just off Wałowa 25, right on the edge of Stogi, so you’re literally a stone’s throw from the Baltic. The first thing that hits you on arrival is the friendly bellhop who greets you with a grin and a quick rundown of the free car park behind the building—no hidden fees, just a simple “park here, pay a dime” sign. Check‑in is a breeze; the desk is open 24/7, and the staff remember your name after just a few minutes of conversation (I swear they asked about my favorite Polish dish, which is a nice touch). The lobby has a huge glass wall that frames the sea; on a clear day, you can see the Stogi Pier stretching out like a silver ribbon. The sound of gulls and distant motorboats fills the air, and there’s a faint salty tang that lingers in the room. Honestly, the vibe is a mix of relaxed coastal charm and modern polish—no pretentiousness, just real hospitality.
The room itself is a snug, airy space with a minimalist decor that keeps the focus on the view. I was lucky to snag a balcony, and the panorama at sunrise is something you’ll want to see on repeat—soft pink clouds, the horizon just a few meters away, and the gentle hum of the city waking up. The bed is comfortable but not extravagant; the pillows are a solid FIRM, which I appreciated after a long flight, though a few guests might prefer a softer feel. The bathroom is spotless, with a rain shower that makes you feel like you’re at a luxury spa (minus the price tag). Wi‑Fi is decent, though during peak tourist season it can lag a bit—so if you’re a heavy downloader, you might want to plan your streaming accordingly. Breakfast is a delightful surprise: fresh pastries, a selection of local cheeses, and, if you’re lucky, a steaming pot of tea with a hint of cinnamon that reminds you of grandma’s kitchen. After breakfast, I stepped out onto the balcony and roamed the nearby streets. The coffee shop on Ulica Dziewicza—Café Róża—serves the best latte in town, and the sidewalk café seats are perfect for people‑watching while listening to the occasional tram clatter. It’s a great spot to meet locals, who’ll tell you about the best hidden beach spots or the best time to catch the sunset over the Gdańsk Bay.
Overall, Maya’s Flats & Resorts 26 – Panorama View feels like a home away from home, but with the added bonus of a breathtaking seaside view that you can’t get in most city hotels. The only real critique is that the elevator is a bit on the slow side, so if you’re staying on the upper floors, be prepared for a slight wait—though you can always take the stairs and get a workout in while admiring the sea. The noise level at night is impeccable; the only sounds that seep in are the distant waves and a slow, rhythmic wind that’s oddly soothing. If you’re visiting during the

David from United States – 8 November 2024 (10/10)
Modern, well appointed, high-rise view apartment just outside the historic districts. Everything was clean and comfortable. Check-in process was a building door code with the key in a box at the apartment door. The Zabka store was just 50m away, the Aldi only a couple blocks.
What could be improved: The clothes washing machine was broken, not hooked up and with the side off. Had to use the sink to wash a weeks worth of clothes.Alicja from Ireland – 25 July 2024 (9/10)
Stunning view, close to the train station, and city centre, also 2 min walk to Montownia (☺️), equipped with everything we need, nice touch with sweets, bottles of water, personalised welcome tag, real plants ( which is very rare in rentals).
