Long Gardens Premium Apartments Old Town Gdansk Overview
Long Gardens Premium Apartments Old Town Gdansk was my first stop after a quick train ride from Warsaw. The moment I stepped out of the station, the cobblestones of Gdańsk’s Old Town felt like a warm, slightly dusty welcome. I was surprised how close the hotel was to the famous Motława River walk—just a two‑minute stroll, which is perfect if you’re looking to catch the sunrise over the medieval skyline. The building itself sits on Długie Ogrody 11, a quiet corner that’s oddly tucked away from the usual tourist bustle, yet still within a stone’s throw of the bustling Złota Street where you can grab a coffee that’s as strong as a Polish espresso.
Check‑in was, honestly, one of the smoothest parts of the trip. I was greeted by a friendly receptionist who handed me a small key fob that also works for the apartment’s smart lock—no fumbling with keys in the morning. She mentioned the free street parking on the block, which was a lifesaver because I was lugging a suitcase and a few backpacks. The only minor inconvenience is that the building’s elevator is a bit of a single‑track ride, so during peak hours you might have to wait a few minutes. But the elevator’s side panel has a small refrigerator, so you can keep your drinks cool while you wait. Once inside, the apartment had a surprisingly airy feel thanks to the large windows that open onto the street, letting in that crisp Baltic air and the distant hum of trams. The room was furnished in a clean, modern style, with a comfortable sofa that practically whispered “come on in” when I dropped my bags.
I spent the first evening wandering down to St. Mary’s Church, then back to my apartment to try the breakfast that came with the stay. The croissants were flaky and buttery, the jam was a perfect blend of sweet and tart, and the coffee was brewed by a local barista who insisted it was “the best they’ve ever made.” The small kitchen in the apartment was surprisingly well‑equipped—there was a kettle, a mini fridge, and even a set of high‑quality knives, which made it easy to whip up a quick pierogi dinner after a day of sightseeing. I had a small note in the fridge that said, “Don’t forget to try the local sausage at the market on Gdańsk’s oldest street!”—a little nudge that reminded me to explore beyond the hotel’s walls.
One thing that really stood out to me is how peaceful the apartment feels despite its central location. The only real noise was the occasional traffic from the nearby main road, but that was mostly in the early morning when the city is still waking up. I slept like a log, and the bed linens, which were crisp and crisp‑white, felt like a gentle hug. The only critique is that the bathroom was a bit small, and the shower could use a little more water pressure. However, the bubble bath the hotel provided was so soothing that it made up for any minor inconvenience. If you’re traveling during the summer, especially in July and August, the area around the Motława can get a bit crowded, but the hotel’s location still keeps you just away from the most congested spots, giving you that rare combination of accessibility and tranquility.
Overall, I’d say that Long Gardens Premium Apartments Old Town Gdansk is a solid choice for anyone who wants to experience the heart of Gdańsk without the constant buzz of a high‑end hotel. The staff know the city like the back of their hands, the apartment feels like a cozy nest, and the price is, frankly, a steal for a 4‑star rating and a 9.7 score. Whether you’re a solo traveler, a couple, or a small family, you’ll find that the place feels both familiar and fresh, like that first cup of coffee after a long journey. The next time you’re in Gdańsk, give it a shot—you might just find yourself whispering, “I knew this was the right spot.”
Gdansk’s apartments offer spacious accommodations with Baltic charm, perfect for families wanting to experience daily life in this historically significant Polish coastal city.

What could be improved: Δεν βρήκα πως ανάβει και σβήνει το φως στον καθρέφτη του μπάνιου με αποτέλεσμα να ανάψει τη δεύτερη μέρα και να μείνει ανοιχτό μέχρι και τη στιγμή που έφυγα, όμως αυτό σίγουρα δεν ήταν πρόβλημα!Hlushkov from Ukraine – 14 April 2025 (10/10)

Accommodation was really nice. It was close to the city center. We stayed for just two nights but there is everything even for a longer stay, the apartment is well equipped with everything you need and very clean. Grocery shops and bakery are right under the apartment so that is very convenient. Would really recommend.

Perfect location near to the city centre. Close to restaurants, grocery store which works everyday is located just across the street. The apartment itself is very cozy and has everything you need.
Ideal for couples, we felt like at home. Nice double bed, comfortable sofa.
It was very nice with a private balcony and access to Netflix😊🩷 I would highly recommend!
What could be improved: Nothing! Everything was as expected and even better 😊Jayant from Norway – 26 May 2024 (10/10)
The apartment's location is right in the middle of the old town and everything in and around the old town was at a walking distance away 🙂
There are loads of restaurants at your dispense and convenience and grocery stores are located right opposite to the apartment.
There are bus stops 1 min and 6 mins walking distance away making the connectivity seamless for someone using public transport options to explore areas other than the old town.
Coming to the interiors of the apartment everything feels new and i appreciate the attention to detail that has been given to each and every nook and corner of the apartment .The sofa and the bed are both extremely comfortable and the kitchen and the bathroom are modern with all the amenities one can ask for . The check in process was smooth thanks to the detailed instructions given by the host who was very communicative to our queries .
P.s. The apartment is as described in the photos uploaded to booking.com's apartment listing hence not feeling the need to share any additional photos .
What could be improved: Nothing to dislike 🙂 it was a pleasure staying here . Highly recommended!
