The lobby is small but welcoming; the manager, Marta, greets you with a smile that feels like a warm hug from an old friend, and the check‑in process is quick and friendly – no long queues, no endless forms. They even have a small basket of fresh pastries on the desk for early‑morning guests, which is a nice touch.

Once you step into your apartment, the real experience begins. The space is a blend of modern minimalism and subtle nods to Polish heritage. The living area opens onto a balcony that offers a view of the Gdańsk skyline – the rooftops of the old town, the distant silhouette of the Motława river, and the occasional gull flying over the harbor. I could hear the distant hum of the city, but it’s muted enough that you can actually have a conversation over coffee in the mornings. The bed is a generous size, with linens that feel like a cloud and a mattress that remembers you from the first night. The kitchen is surprisingly well-equipped: a full set of pots, a stovetop, a dishwasher – you could actually cook a full meal here. The bathroom has a rain shower that lets you feel the water like a gentle mist, and a small set of local toiletries that remind you of the sea breeze from the waterfront.

The location is a real win if you’re looking to explore Gdańsk without losing time to traffic. I parked my car on the street behind the building – it’s free and there’s always a spot, though it can get a bit tight during the summer months. The building’s small underground parking is a bonus for those who don’t want to hunt for a spot on the street. From the apartment, you’re a short walk to the bustling Stary Port – the area where you can taste pierogi made by a local vendor, or just sit at a café and listen to the old sea shanties played on a guitar by a street performer. A few blocks away, you’ll find the Monastery of the Holy Cross, a quiet spot that feels like a breath of calm in the middle of the city. I’ve also spotted a small, cozy bar called “Bar Młody” on the corner of Północna street, perfect for an after‑work drink; their craft beer selection is surprisingly diverse.

However, no place is perfect. The apartment’s floor is a bit noisy during the night – you can hear the city’s nightlife pulse through the walls, especially if you’re staying in the top floor. Also, the building’s elevator is a little old, so it takes a moment to reach the higher floors – you might want to be patient if you’re carrying a lot of luggage. But honestly, those minor irritations are dwarfed by the overall charm and convenience. The staff are not only polite but genuinely helpful; Marta even gave me a street map with her favorite coffee spots highlighted in red. And the sound of the city, the scent of fresh bread, the feel of the sea breeze on the balcony – all of these create a memorable experience that feels less like a hotel stay and more like a brief, delightful chapter of a larger Gdańsk adventure.

  Fantastic location, loads of space for 7 adults, clean and well presented. 4 large bedrooms, 3 toilets (2 with showers). Great communication with owner. Fab, definitely recommend.

  Perfect location, right in the heart of Gdansk with the Old Town just around the corner! The Neptune Fountain and the Hard Rock Cafe restaurant are just a few hundred metres away.
  You know what the best things are in the Old Town? A free parking garage right under the house! You never have to worry about not finding a parking space.
  
  The apartments are spacious, the rooms and beds are comfortable, and you'll find everything you need from a microwave to an iron and iron board. Very good soundproofing of windows.

  What could be improved: The apartment can accommodate about 8 people, but the fridge is far too small for even 5 people, as we were travelling.
  
  The windows of the two rooms face the main street, so if you're a sensitive sleeper, you'll have to sleep with the windows closed.

  The location was incredible. The key safe was very handy for a group of us. The rooms were large and spacious. The three bathrooms worked well for us and everything was very clean. It was amazing to be 2 floors up but to come out into a beautiful house with lovely little garden. It was fairly quiet with the windows shut. I slept well.
  
  What could be improved: The first floor rooms were very comfortable and had great beds. The upstairs weren’t so comfortable apparently. It could have done with a toaster but didn’t cook much.

  Perfect location. Very quirky on how to get to it, when we arrived we thought we had been taken to the wrong place as it looked like an industrial kind of building. Up 2 sets of stairs and into a courtyard and wow it was beautiful. Like a secret place. A group of 7 it was nice to have 4 bedrooms. Also lots of places to sit together, eat, drink and play games. We will book again.
  
  What could be improved: We had an issue with the heating. It was very cold, however we contacted the owner on the 1st January (bear in mind this would have been a holiday ) they came over to sort it and we were provided with electric heaters. it was sorted quickly and you can’t fault the owner in replying quickly and getting this issue sorted. Brilliant .
