Hampton – Nadmorski Dwór Overview

Hampton – Nadmorski Dwór sits tucked away on a quiet side street in Brzezno, just a ten‑minute stroll from the buzzing heart of Gdańsk. The moment you step through the wrought‑iron gates, you’re greeted by the scent of fresh pine and the distant hum of the river – it’s that calm, almost nostalgic vibe that made me fall in love with this place. I remember the first night I stayed there, the soft glow of the old lamps outside my window, and the feeling that I had discovered a secret corner of Poland. The rooms are spacious, with high ceilings that give a sense of roominess without feeling sterile – honestly, it’s like being in a well‑kept home rather than a hotel. The beds? Plush, with linens that feel like a gentle embrace. And the view from the balcony? A sweeping panorama of the Baltic coast that makes you forget how far you’re actually from the city.

Parking is a breeze – the hotel offers free street parking, and there’s a small, well‑lit lot right next to the building, so you never have to worry about losing a spot or dealing with a chaotic parking garage. The staff greet you with a warm, “Witamy!” and a quick, efficient check‑in that takes less than five minutes; you’re handed a key card, a map of the area, and a complimentary bottle of water with a local brand. It’s the little things that matter – like the handwritten note in the minibar reminding you to try the pierogi at the nearby “Kuchnia Gdańska” on Ulica Morska, or the map that highlights the best walking route to the beach at sunset. If you’re traveling with kids, the hotel’s proximity to the Sopot promenade is a huge plus; a quick 15‑minute walk and you’re at the pier, where the waves crash and the sea breeze carries the salty scent of fresh fish from the market stalls.

I’ve been to a few 4‑star places, but Hampton – Nadmorski Dwór feels more like a trusted friend’s apartment. The noise level is surprisingly low – even on weekends when the city’s nightlife is in full swing, the building’s soundproofing keeps the outside world at a respectful distance. The breakfast spread is a solid hit: think freshly baked rye bread, smoked salmon, and a selection of local cheeses that make you feel like you’re part of the community. And the bar? Not a fancy cocktail lounge, but a cozy corner with a wooden bar and a rotating selection of craft beers from the Pomeranian region; you can hear the clink of glasses and the hum of casual conversation, a perfect backdrop for winding down after a day of exploring. If you’re a foodie, the hotel’s own bistro offers dishes that use ingredients sourced from nearby farms – the lamb stew is tender, and the seaweed salad has that umami kick that only fresh, local seaweed can deliver.

The only thing I’d tweak is the Wi‑Fi speed – it’s spotty at times when everyone’s streaming the same Polish series, but that’s a minor hiccup in an otherwise flawless experience. Overall, staying at Hampton – Nadmorski Dwór feels like stepping into a warm, welcoming nest that’s just a stone’s throw from Gdańsk’s historic streets and the endless horizon of the Baltic. You’ll leave with a sense of having truly seen the city, not just from a tourist’s perspective but from the eyes of a local who knows the best spots, the quiet corners, and the stories that make this coastal town so special. Whether you’re planning a weekend getaway or a longer stay, this place brings the right mix of comfort, authenticity, and insider charm.

Blisko do morza. Biedronka w pobliżu. Apartament czysty, nowoczesny.Osiedle ogrodzone, pięknie zagospodarowane. Jest boisko do koszykówki i kort tenisowy oraz plac zabaw. Byliśmy z dziećmi.Jesteśmy zadowoleni z pobytu.

  • Anonymous from Poland – 13 August 2024 (9/10)

  • Ania from Poland – 26 July 2024 (5/10)

    Lokalizacja ok.

What could be improved: Średni kontakt z obsługą, nikt nie odbiera telefonów w dzień zameldowania. Informacja o sposobie zameldowania, kod do wejścia oraz dokładny adres, po godz 16 dopiero po kilku telefonach i smsach z mojej strony.

  • Teresa from Poland – 8 September 2023 (8/10)

Bardzo dobra lokalizacja, w miarę nowe miejsce, zadbane, spokojne i sprzyjające wypoczynkowi.

What could be improved: Na poprawę zasługuje komunikacja z obiektem – wytyczne związane z wejściem, parkingiem, wjazdem na osiedle i samo oznaczenie budynku, którego szukamy jest kiepskie.

  • Radek from Poland – 22 July 2022 (7/10)

Lokalizacja, osiedle, taras, miła dbająca obsługa, mili sąsiedzi.

What could be improved: Poziom czystosci lazienki wszechobecny kamień i zacieki, zakamieniony MOCNO czajnik – serwis sprzątajacy się nie przykłada, rozumiem że apartament się zuzywa ale regularne i rzetelne czyszczenie załatwiło by sprawę, brak podstawowego szkła do alkoholi – w tego typu obiekcie/apartamencie nie powinno mieć to miejsca!
Przekazuję informacje jako wskazówkę nie jako zarzut. Po poprawjach myślę, że będzie 10/10. Polecam i życzę wszystkiego dobrego!
