Now, the pool and spa area are where the hotel really shines. The indoor pool is heated to a comfy 26°C, and the sauna—yes, a full sauna—does a great job of melting the day’s stress. I’m not a huge fan of hot rooms, but after a quick shower I sat in the sauna for about 15 minutes, which left me feeling refreshed and oddly relaxed. The spa treatments are a bit pricey, but if you’re looking for a massage after a day of exploring the old town, it’s worth it. The noise level in the lounge is moderate; a few guests chat loudly, but overall it’s a quiet place to unwind. The parking is secure, and if you’re staying late, you won’t have to worry the city’s traffic at 2 a.m.

The location is a real gem. The hotel is on Pszenna Street, which is just a stone’s throw from the Motława River and the iconic St. Mary’s Church. I walked down to the pier and ended up on a small, hidden café that serves the best pierogi I’ve ever tasted—so good you’ll want to come back for seconds. I also discovered a tiny art gallery just a block away, showcasing local painters who capture Gdańsk’s unique light. If you’re visiting during the summer, be ready for crowds around the old town, but the hotel’s courtyard has enough shade to beat the heat. The only real critique: the room’s Wi‑Fi was a bit spotty during the evening, which is a minor inconvenience, but it didn’t ruin my stay. All in all, Grano Residence feels like a local’s favorite spot—comfortable, well‑situated, and a real treat for anyone wanting a genuine Gdańsk experience.

  Beautiful rooms and shower. Well equipped kitchen too. The apartment is in a great location to access the old town.

  Breakfast in the cafe next door was delightful. Super healthy and fresh. Check in was easy once given the entry instructions. I thought contactless check in would be an issue but it was the complete opposite. Would definitely stay there again!

  the apartment was pretty spacious- the kitchen was filled with utensils which we used to cook, the location was fantastic, the building was secure and in a safe area. the apartment was quite, the shower and bathroomnwas clean and nice. overall I highly recommend !
