The check‑in was surprisingly smooth—no long lines, just a friendly clerk who already knew my name and handed me a keycard with a smile that made me feel like a regular. I had to pause for a second to catch my breath when the hallway opened up to a balcony that actually looked out over the beach. The view was a refreshing mix of turquoise waves and the gray, weathered cliffs that Gdańsk’s coast is known for. There’s a small sign on the wall that says “Sopot Pier is just a 15‑minute walk away,” which, honestly, drew me into thinking about a spontaneous beach stroll later.

The room itself was a laid‑back oasis, a 4‑star vibe without the pretentiousness you sometimes see. The bed was a massive, comfortable thing with crisp linens that feel like a cloud. I was impressed by the noise level—there’s a subtle hum of the sea, but no traffic noise from the city because the hotel sits on a quieter street, a side lane off Kempingowa that locals call “the peaceful corner.” The bathroom had a shower with a great water pressure that left me feeling refreshed after the day’s walk. I also found a small balcony with a table where I could sip a cold drink while listening to gulls and the distant crash of waves—perfect for a lazy Sunday brunch. The Wi‑Fi was decent, the only hiccup being the speed dropped a bit during the night, but that’s a minor gripe.

Parking is a lifesaver, especially if you’re cruising in with a car. There’s a parking lot just a block away, free for the first hour and then a modest fee after that. I parked there, then walked over—no need to worry about finding a spot on the beach. The hotel’s location is sweet because it’s near the old town’s main train station, Gdańsk Główny, but still far enough that the morning traffic noise doesn’t bother you. The staff mentioned that the best time to hit the beach is early; the crowds thin out around 10 am, and the sand is pristine. As for the locals, I bumped into a few who were recommending a small café called „Kawiarnia Wodny” on the coast, which serves a surprisingly good latte and some homemade pastries. If you’re visiting in the off‑season, the place feels almost deserted, which is great for a quiet stay; but in the summer, the beach can get busy, so a quick stroll before noon is wise. All in all, GRANO FLATS felt like a home away from home with that authentic, understated charm.

  Bardzo ładny apartament, wszystko co potrzebne do codziennego użytkowania było na miejscu: przybory kuchenne, żelazko, ręczniki itd.

  Brak zasięgu sieci Plus, Wi-Fi bardzo słabe, ledwo działające lub w ogóle.

  Obsługa bardzo miła, obiekt w cichej okolicy, czysto zarówno wewnątrz jak i na zewnątrz obiektu. Okolica cicha jest gdzie pójść z pieskiem na spacer. Serdecznie polecam to miejsce.

  Wystrój wnętrz, dostęp do wielu udogodnień (łącznie z sauną), bardzo urokliwa okolica. Jeszcze tu wrócimy.

  Dobre wyposażenie kuchni w talerze, kubki, sztućce. Lokalizacja super, blisko morza i tawerny.
  Estetyczny wystrój, czystość, kosmetyki do dyspozycji gości. Super, że były ręczniki i suszarka i nie musieliśmy ich zabierać ze sobą.
  
  What could be improved: Mała ilość tabletek do zmywarki. Na 4 dniowy pobyt mieliśmy tylko jedną.
  Fajnie, że były worki umożliwiające segregację śmieci, ale super gdyby jeszcze znajdował się kosz z podziałem na kategorie w apartamencie.
  Wysoki koszt za pobyt psa. Zdaje się, że było to ok.140zł. Sporo.

  1. Parking is good and secure: filming everything.
  2. Washing machine is located

  4. Good location to reach beach with kids
  5. Yard is tidy and clean
  
  What could be improved: 1. It was hard to take keys dedicated for apartment, missing comunication.
  2. Buid is still under the construction and we were not informed about it.
  3. Poor reservation on utilities in kitchen, bathroom.
  4. Windows do not have day curtains, everything is visible to everyone ouside.
  5. Very poor lighting system. In the evening, eyes got tired of dark rooms.
