The locals usually head to the corner café, Złota Kaczka, for a latte before the city wakes up, and I ended up grabbing a pastry from there during my first morning. I also discovered that the nearest metro stop is just a ten‑minute walk away, which is handy if you want to explore beyond the Old Town.

Beyond the apartment’s comfort, the vibe of the neighborhood is like a living history book. You can walk to the Royal Way and feel the centuries of sailors and merchants in the stone walls, and if you’re into music, the jazz club near Motława plays live every Thursday night. The only thing I’d tweak is the Wi‑Fi speed – it’s decent for casual browsing but can be a bit sluggish during peak hours. Still, the overall experience is solid. For anyone who wants a blend of local flavor, modern convenience, and a little personal retreat, Flatbook is the kind of place that feels like a second home. The next time I visit Gdańsk, I’ll definitely be back, because honestly, there’s nothing quite like waking up with the city’s old charm and a sauna ready to unwind.

  Very nice appartent, great communication with host, great location – near to city centre, but not directly in it.
  
  What could be improved: Arrival was little bit messy. You recieve detailed information via e-mail and WhatsApp and they are always online to help, which is great, just information in instructions were little bit misleading (stating two adresses where to come – even they are close to each other).
