Euro Loft Old Town Apartament Overview
Euro Loft Old Town Apartament was the first stop on my Gdańsk adventure. I arrived just after the sun had dipped behind the river, and the street was still buzzing with the last few tram passengers and a couple of street performers on Dluga. The building itself is a converted warehouse from the 19th century, with exposed brick walls and a wooden balcony that creaks when you step onto it – a little reminder that history is literally under your feet. The front desk was a pair of locals who greeted me with a warm “Witaj” and handed over my key card with a knowing smile. The check‑in was quick; no long lines, no endless paperwork, just a friendly nod and a cup of instant coffee from the tiny kitchen area. Parking was a breeze too – there’s a small public lot a block away that charges a modest fee, and if you’re okay with street parking, the narrow lanes around Straganiarska are usually clear after midnight. I was impressed that the noise from the city stayed manageable; the only sounds were the occasional gulls and the distant hum of traffic from the Motława River.
The apartment itself is a modern loft with high ceilings and a minimalist vibe that pops when you see the natural light pouring in through the large windows. The bed was a comfort‑zone of a mattress that felt like a cloud, and the linens were crisp – no weird old hotel smell. The living area is surprisingly spacious for a city apartment; there’s a small sofa that folds into a bed, perfect if you want to host a friend. The kitchenette is well equipped – a stove, a fridge, a coffee maker, a few utensils, and a very handy kettle that boils water in two minutes. I found myself cooking a quick breakfast on the balcony while listening to the city’s soft hum. On the downside, the Wi‑Fi signal was a bit spotty when I tried to stream a tutorial; a quick call to the front desk solved it, though. A small but handy touch was the extra set of keys that came with a small key basket – a thoughtful detail that made me feel more at home. The bathroom was clean, with a deep shower and a decent amount of towels – no shoes on the floor, which is a win for cleanliness.
What really stands out about Euro Loft Old Town Apartament is how it feels like a hidden gem tucked into the heart of Gdańsk. I spent an afternoon wandering to the Gdańsk Crane and the St. Mary’s Church, both just a short walk away, and found the cobblestones beneath my shoes surprisingly soft. The building’s location means you can hear the sea breeze from the river, and during the summer evenings, the street lights and the occasional jazz tune from a nearby café – perhaps Café Hansa – create a soundtrack that feels distinctly Polish. I’d recommend staying in this place if you want to be close to the action but still have a quiet, comfortable space to unwind. The only thing I’d say is to book early during the high season in August, because the old town gets crowded and parking can get tight. All in all, Euro Loft Old Town Apartament gave me a real taste of Gdańsk’s lively yet cozy atmosphere, and I’ll definitely be back next time I’m in the city.

Good location. Clean and spacious property with all you could need to enjoy your stay.
What could be improved: N/A very happy with the propertyChristine from United Kingdom – 15 March 2025 (10/10)
Loved the apartment, spotlessly clean, comfortable, modern interior, everything you need has been added to the apartment for your convenience. Communication for checking in and out was seem-less. Building and surrounding streets lovely and peaceful. 5 minute walk to attractions and plenty of shops on your door step. Will definitely book again if I return and will pass onto recommendations to friends.
What could be improved: Only one small moan was the spiral narrow stairs to get up to apartment when carrying luggage, however mastered it quite well.Gary from United Kingdom – 3 December 2024 (10/10)
Very clean & central apartment.
Everything you need for a visit to Gdansk.
What could be improved: Nothing.Aljaz from Slovenia – 4 November 2024 (10/10)

What could be improved: Nothing all was perfectAlexandra from United Kingdom – 30 October 2024 (10/10)
Excellent apartment right in the center. Great location to walk to the river -4 minutes or to the main train station- 10 minutes. Spacious, well equipped, lots of utensils, tea and coffee for the coffee machine provided. 2 bedrooms, big comfy beds. Nice lounge and kitchen. Great communication with the owner, easy to get in using the pin on the building door and another one on the flat door itself. Would highly recommend staying here and would definitely stay again if come back.
What could be improved: The only 2 things to note which did not affect our stay at all but might be an issue if you have mobility problems is very steep stairs to the apartment.
Also the shower temperature has a mind of its own but seems to be a problem with many apartments, I read in reviews.Mark from United Kingdom – 4 October 2024 (10/10)
The property is in an excellent location within walking distance to all the main attractions, shops, restaurants and bars. The communication with the host was excellent and all messages were answered very quickly and courteously. The apartment is exactly as seen in the images and, due to having plenty of windows, it is a very bright and airy place to stay.
I would definitely recommend Euro Loft Old Town Apartment 😊
What could be improved: A few minor points which could be improved:
There is no hanging space for clothes in the main bedroom.
The electronic lock to the apartment is not terribly easy to use.
The TV didn't display any channels (possibly down to not knowing how to use it, but there were no instructions).
A safe in the apartment would be useful.Huss from Sweden – 4 July 2024 (10/10)
The location was perfect, close to everything we wanted to see. The apartment was also very clean and had all the facilities we needed. Would really recommend to stay here!

1. The apartment is located centrally in the old town therefore all the attractions are within walking distance.
2. The apartment is well decorated. The rooms were clean. The living room was special. The kitchen had all the utilities.
3. Checking was very simplified and easily done.
4. Manager was very friendly and solved problems we had. They were very responsive and quickly resolved any issue.
What could be improved: 1. Even though the apartment inside is modern, the building is not. The staircases were very steep and round. So it was difficult to walk up the stairs since it is located on the second floor.
2. The the hot water was not coming from the shower on the third day however it was quickly resolved by the manager, so it was not a lingering problem.Justyna from United Kingdom – 21 December 2023 (9/10)
We had a lovely stay at the Euro Apartment. The apartment is located in the city centre. The apartment is very spacious and well equipped.
