Elite Apartments SPA Zone Overview

Elite Apartments SPA Zone is tucked into the 6F Jaglana block, right where the old city vibes meet the modern hustle of Gdańsk. I actually found my way in on a rainy Thursday, chasing the smell of fresh pierogi from that tiny shop on St. Mariacka just a block away. The check‑in was a breezy affair—friendly staff, a quick digital key swipe, and a warm welcome that felt less like a hotel and more like being handed a secret key to the city. (I mean, you’d think a four‑star spot would try to be flashy, but the vibe here is low‑key chic; no blaring elevator announcements, just the soft hum of the building’s HVAC and the distant clatter of tram wheels.)

Walking out, you’re hit by the crisp air off the Motława River, and the tiny jazz club on the corner of Gdańsk’s old harbor plays a mellow tune that seeps into your headphones. The noise level is surprisingly moderate, even at night, thanks to the thick walls and the building’s strategic position away from the main nightlife strip. The parking is a real lifesaver: a covered garage under the building, free of that usual Gdańsk chaos, and you can park just a few minutes from your door—super handy for those who’re planning a day of sightseeing or a late‑night stroll through the old town’s cobblestones.

Inside, the apartment itself is a blend of airy, minimalist décor with a splash of local art. The walls are adorned with prints from the Amber Museum, giving a subtle nod to the city’s heritage. The bed? A cloud‑like mattress that promises you’ll wake up feeling less like you’ve slept on a sofa and more like you’ve rested in a spa. Speaking of spa, the on‑site spa zone is a gem—sauna, steam room, and a small indoor pool that’s perfect for a quick dip after a long day exploring the Gdańsk Sky Tower or catching a show at the Opera House. I’ll admit the spa’s playlist is a bit too mellow, but hey, it’s all about the steam and the quiet, isn’t it? The room’s natural light is generous, with a view of the city’s rooftops that makes every sunrise feel like a personal sunrise.

A small critique: the Wi‑Fi is decent but sometimes lags when the city’s internet traffic spikes during the summer festival season. It’s not a deal‑breaker, though—most of the time you can work or stream without a hiccup. And about the noise—while daytime is fine, the quiet hours are really quiet, but if you’re on a late‑night ride home from the bars on St. Adalbert, the building’s soundproofing keeps the bed free from the city’s nighttime chatter. The staff at the front desk is always ready with a helpful tip: “Try the street‑food stalls on Kępa or the pierogi at the Polish Museum—good, cheap, and local.” I found that suggestion spot on a rainy afternoon and it was worth every bite.

All in all, Elite Apartments SPA Zone feels like a home away from home, with the perfect mix of local flavor, practical perks, and a touch of indulgence. It’s not just a place to stay; it’s a little slice of Gdańsk you’ll want to return to, especially when you’re ready to soak in the city’s history without losing that sense of modern comfort. The next time you’re planning a trip, remember the little details—like the parking garage, the quiet nights, and that spa that feels more like a retreat than a hotel amenity—and you’ll see why this spot has that 7.6 rating and, honestly, more than that in my book.

Reviews of Elite Apartments SPA Zone

  • Raltay from United Kingdom – 19 November 2024 (9/10)

Breakfast was not included. Location is great and was quiet. A clean and modern flat with a high security. No issues with any of the facilities at the accommodation. Value for money indeed.

What could be improved: Not being able to interact with host in person with questions needed to be clarified about the accommodation, eg, getting into and departing from the flat.

  • Trevor from United Kingdom – 13 October 2024 (8/10)

The apartment is in a new build complex of a number of blocks of flats, they are number from A to F. It is important that you are awre of this otherwise you will be searching for your accommodation. It is walkable into the center of Gadansk . The best way is to follow the small river at the back of the apartment block for 10 mins when you come to a bridge trun right go over it and after 10mins you will find a well stocked supermarket. If you turn left at the bridge and walk down that will lead you to the center of Gadansk. On your journey down the street look out for the Polish take away/ eat in restaurant open 8am to 5pm very good traditional food

The city is very easy to access everything can be done by walking. It is well worth visiting the war museum you need at least 3 hours for this on Tuesdays it is free

What could be improved: The only problem with the apartment is the area for eating is not large a small counter with high stools.

With regards Gdanska some of the tourist trips are rip offs do not take the bus around the town or the river cruise for 17 Euro all you will see are docks and scrape yards

The main street in Gdanska in full of resturansts all they serve is pasta or fish and chips no Polish food

  • Ewelina from United Kingdom – 6 September 2024 (7/10)

Clean apartment, good location. Very close to spa and pool.

What could be improved: Smaller than the pictures show. 1st floor so not much of the view. Only one coffee for 2 people for 5 days. No extra towel nor pillows or sheets. Dishwasher tablets were there but no laundry detergent. Very Spartan.

  • Václav from Czech Republic – 9 August 2024 (8/10)

Perfect for a one day visit. Small but fully equiped. Easy to get into, free parking all around.

  • Peet from Netherlands – 24 July 2024 (8/10)

The apartment is well equipped, and walking distance from the Old Town. There is a coffee shop, a bakery and a restaurant within 100m of the front door. Free covered parking. Contactless check-in and check-out.

What could be improved: Instructions to find the parking place were unclear.

  • Yodit from Denmark – 5 July 2024 (9/10)

    It was wonderful

  • Wioletta from United Kingdom – 1 June 2024 (8/10)

  • John from Poland – 2 December 2023 (7/10)

Good ,location small Basic outfitted good for up to 2 persons if like to be in centre of Gdansk. Good view to river

What could be improved: No curtains to blind windows only 30 Cm on left side. Bed was hard low quality. TV did not work, claimed it 1st day no responce from host. Invoice issued several weeks after stay after 5 reminders

  • Tomkiel from United Kingdom – 10 February 2023 (9/10)

I really liked the apartment, it was comfortable and cozy. The location was great as everything was within walking distance.

  • Georgi from Denmark – 9 July 2022 (8/10)

The bed at the apartment was in a poor condition and it was impossible to sleep. We discovered that just after we got in. However the company arranged an immediate replacement and we've got a brand new coach within an hour. Excellent service! And the place is just a short walk to the beautiful center.

What could be improved: The floor wasn't mopped and it was pretty dirty. The balcony was nice but there were no chairs suitable for outside. There wasn't a kitchen knive which made preparing food pretty challenging.
