Elite Apartments Granaria Luxury Overview
Elite Apartments Granaria Luxury sits right on 3C Chmielna, smack in the middle of Gdańsk’s Old Town, so when I first walked out of the front door I was already surrounded by cobblestones, the buzz of trams, and the faint scent of roasted chestnuts from a nearby market stall. Honestly, that street—Chmielna—is one of those places where you can feel the city’s heartbeat; it’s lively but still preserves that historic charm that tourists sometimes miss. The building itself looks like a dignified apartment block with a touch of modern flair—floor-to-ceiling windows, polished stone facade, and a discreet, almost secretive entrance that makes you feel like you’ve stepped into an exclusive spot.
The first thing I noticed during check-in was the staff’s genuine warmth. They greeted me with a quick smile, handed me a key card, and gave me a rundown of the apartment’s features—soothing lighting, a surprisingly spacious living area, and a kitchen that felt more like a local’s pantry than a hotel kitchenette. They also mentioned the nearby parking spot on Kinga Street, which turned out to be a lifesaver because finding street parking in Gdańsk can be a nightmare, especially during the summer. I parked the car in that spot, and the walk back to the building was a short, pleasant stroll past the bustling fish market and the iconic St. Mary’s Basilica, just a stone’s throw away.
When I settled in, I could hear the distant hum of the city—trams, the occasional shout from street vendors, the clink of coffee cups from a café across the street. Not too loud, honestly; the apartment’s double-glazed windows do a great job of muffling the noise, so I found myself drifting off to sleep in no time. The bed was a marvel—plush mattress, crisp linens, and a soft, buttery blanket that made every night feel like a secret retreat. The bathroom was sleek and modern, with a rainfall shower that reminded me of a spa, and the built-in speaker system played a subtle playlist that complemented the room’s atmosphere. I did notice that the minibar was a bit on the pricey side, but the fresh fruit and local craft beers were definitely worth the splurge.
Exploring the neighborhood was a highlight. I walked east toward the Long Market (Długi Targ) and found myself surrounded by colorful facades, tiny boutiques, and the aroma of freshly baked pierogi. On the way back, I popped into a local bakery on Nowy Port Street to grab a buttery croissant for breakfast the next day—trust me, it was the perfect start to the day. The hotel’s proximity to the Gdańsk Bay ferry terminal was also a bonus; a quick tram ride takes you to the harbor, where the sound of waves and the salty air set a soothing backdrop. For those who love history, a short walk to the Royal Castle and the WWII Museum feels like a gentle reminder of the city’s resilience.
The only minor gripe I had was that the reception desk’s response time could be quicker when you’re on a tight schedule. I was waiting for a quick check-out, and the staff seemed a bit overwhelmed, but they eventually sorted everything out without fuss. Overall, Elite Apartments Granaria Luxury feels like a well-kept secret for travelers who want the authenticity of a local stay without sacrificing comfort. If you’re planning a trip to Gdańsk, this place is a solid choice—just remember to bring a pair of comfortable shoes for the cobblestones and a small backpack for the city’s eclectic mix of old and new. The apartment’s blend of modern amenities, thoughtful details, and an unbeatable location makes it a home away from home that you’ll want to return to again and again.

Apartament czysty, zadbany, bardzo komfortowy, świetna lokalizacja, atrakcje na wyciągnięcie ręki.

The apartment was situated close to everything in Gdansk. Everything was well within walking distance
What could be improved: The apartment took the full price of the booking TWICE from my credit card. This was noticed immediately and when I brought it up, the response was very nonchalant. I raised this a week before my stay and the funds were only back in my account after I got home from my stay. When I arrived at the apartment, my partner stood on a piece of broken glass beside the balcony. There were a few other pieces scattered across the living room floor. There was a £100 deposit taken upon arrival there for damages, which is understandable. However when we left, I was sent a picture of a towel with a bit of fake tan stain on it (which washes out). I was told the towel was destroyed and that £30 would be coming out of my deposit. All-in-all, not a very pleasant experience with the owner of the property. Left a sour taste in our mouth from the get go. Very disappointing.Kalota from Poland – 26 February 2025 (9/10)

Extremely central, lovely and spacious apartment, nice and minimal but still felt homely. Pics supplied are how the apartment looks. Wi-fi fast and reliable. Felt secure in the apartment with security entrance. Liked the remote entry, was sent details on how to enter property and other FAQs.
What could be improved: Cable box didn’t work for tv viewing, tv remote not great.
A dish towel would be good as the day we left we didn’t want to put the dishwasher on for just our breakfast dishes.Adrian from Ireland – 15 October 2024 (9/10)

What could be improved: 1.Not very clean floors – not mopped deeply, my feet were black after an hour of walking bear foot ,
2. Quite cheap bedding and mascara stains on a bit grayed towels – making me thing how where they handled ,
