When I first pulled up to DoMola in the Jelitkowski Dwór area, I honestly wasn’t sure what to expect — the name doesn’t give much away, you know? But this four-star boutique hotel immediately caught my attention with its understated elegance. Located in one of Gdańsk’s quieter residential neighborhoods, it feels like you’ve discovered something special that most tourists haven’t figured out yet. The building itself has this modern yet warm aesthetic that somehow fits perfectly into the surrounding area without trying too hard.

The Neighborhood Advantage

Here’s what I love about this location — you’re actually staying in a real part of Gdańsk, not some touristy bubble. Jelitkowski Dwór is where locals live and work, which means you get authentic Polish neighborhood vibes while still being close enough to the main attractions. The beach at Jelitków is literally a short walk away, and I mean a proper Baltic Sea beach, not some crowded city waterfront. Plus, getting into the Old Town takes maybe 15 minutes by tram or car, but honestly, having that parking situation sorted (free and private, right on site) makes everything so much easier.

The Room Experience

My room was — well, let me put it this way — it felt like staying at a friend’s really well-designed apartment rather than a typical hotel. The attention to detail is what got me; everything from the lighting to the bathroom fixtures felt thoughtfully chosen. The beds are properly comfortable (you know how hit-or-miss hotel beds can be), and the windows actually open, which I always appreciate. What really impressed me was how quiet everything was, despite being in a residential area — you can actually get a good night’s sleep here.

Practical Perks

Look, I’m not usually one to get excited about hotel amenities, but DoMola gets the basics absolutely right. That free parking I mentioned? It’s actually a big deal in Gdańsk, where finding a spot can be a real headache. The staff genuinely seems to care about making your stay work — they’re not just going through the motions. I also noticed they pay attention to couples (apparently it’s quite popular for romantic getaways), and I can see why — there’s something intimate about the scale and atmosphere that bigger hotels just can’t match.

  Komfortowe mieszkanie , wyposażone we wszystkie potrzebne rzeczy ( zmywarka, ekspres kolbowy, mikrofala , tv , pralka ). Wygodne łóżka . Bez klimatyzacji , ale umiejscowione od strony północnej, więc podczas upałów jest bardzo komfortowe. Polecam

  Everything was great. The accommodation had everything you need for life: stove, fridge, washing machine, dishes, utensils, kettle, hair dryer, iron, vacuum cleaner, sand toys and many other things. There was even a surprise from the host – bottles of mineral water and chocolate

  Same plusy: 1. Blisko morza i plaży, oraz piekarni.2. Komfortowe mieszkanko z wszystkimi udogodnieniami.3. Szybki dojazd do centrum Gdańska,4. 30 min. piechotą od Stadionu a że przyjechaliśmy na koncert Eda Sheerana to miało najwieksze znaczenie;)5.Przemiły Właściciel który chciał nas nawet zawieść na w/w koncert to już prawdziwa wisienka na torcie tej mega pozytywnej opinii.
  Na pewno wrócimy…jeszcze tyle koncertów przed nami;)

  Wonderful apartment. The owner is very polite. We had a very late arrival and he had no problems to meet as at night. Apartment is very clean and has everything you need:dishwasher, iron, hair dryer, even toys for kids and beach towel. It is near the beach:you can go by foot it will take about 20 minutes. Recommend. You will never regret!

  Очень удобное расположение, близко к к морю. Оснащенная, аккуратная, современная комфортабельная квартира. Приятный хозяин. Если Вам важно – то хозяин немного говорит по-русски. Фото на сайте полностью соответствуют реальности. Спасибо за приятный отдых!!!

  Bliskość mola i morza to najwiekszy benefit wynajmu tego mieszkania. Poza tym dobry kontakt z właścicielami. Mieszkanie w dobrym standardzie, kuchnia pokoje i łazienka świetnie wyposażone. Brak uwag z mojej strony, polecam.

  The stay was very good. We had everything we needed from towels to coffee machine 🙂 the apartment even had toys for my daughter, sand toys and towel for the beach. The kitchen had everything we needed for cooking, even sugar, tea and chocolates! 🙂 The sea is quite close, walkable (with smaller kids I would recommend to have stroller, bike, scooter, etc.), we loved the longer walks. Overall, we felt very welcome, guided straight to the door after a long journey, everything commumicated clearly and we are glad we chose this place for our holidays 🙂 Best recommendions for this apartment!
