The hotel’s location is unbeatable for exploring Gdańsk’s Old Town. From the lobby, you can step out onto Dluga Street and wander past the bustling fish market, the iconic St. Mary’s Church, and the charming cafés that line the waterfront. I took a quick pause at a little café on Śródmieście Street for a latte; the barista knew my name (I told her it was my first time in Gdańsk), which made the experience feel personal.

Dining at Dom & House was a highlight. The breakfast spread was simple but thoughtfully curated—fresh bread, locally sourced butter, a selection of cheeses from the nearby Szczecin dairy, and a tea made from herbs grown in the city’s botanical garden. For dinner, I opted for the small, intimate restaurant on the second floor. The menu was a blend of Polish classics and modern twists, and the chef’s pierogi were a revelation—fluffy dough stuffed with mushroom and onion, served with a dollop of sour cream that had this earthy, umami depth. The bar on the roof is a hidden gem; you can sip a glass of amber amber or a crisp white while watching the sunset over the Motława, and the staff will casually recommend a glass of Piwnica’s best vintage.   What could be improved: It’s really unreasonable that the municipality doesn’t provide the location information online before you make the tax payment. It’s a waste of time, and you can’t even pay at the desk. Also, the place where you pick up the key is quite far (15 minutes Walk )from the actual hotel. You have to go there first, which is very inconvenient.

  The apartment was amazing. Very big, clean and comfortable. The kitchen was equipped beyond expectations, The property was very clean. The pool in the building was a bonus. Fantastic location.

  The bed was comfy, we had a balcony, very good location, the room istelf was okay, cleanish.
