The kitchenette is stocked with instant coffee, a kettle, and a set of Polish butter and rye bread—perfect for a quick breakfast after a day of sightseeing. I did notice that the Wi‑Fi password is tucked into a little card on the fridge, so keep an eye out for that if you’re a casual internet user.

Noise is a mixed bag. In the winter, the street is quiet enough to hear your own thoughts, and the old stone walls keep the city’s chatter at bay. However, come summer, the evenings can get lively—locals and tourists alike spill onto the nearby squares, and the lively chatter from the bars in St. Mary’s Street seeps through the floorboards. I’d say it’s a trade‑off: you get an authentic Gdańsk vibe, but if you’re a light sleeper, you might want to request a room on the upper floors. Parking is a story in itself—there’s a small, family‑run garage a block away, and the staff will gladly drop you a key. It’s a bit pricey, but the convenience of having a car in the city during the busy tourist season is worth it.

The apartment’s bathroom is surprisingly luxurious. The shower’s water pressure is strong, and the tiles have a subtle, almost nostalgic, pattern that feels like a nod to the city’s heritage. I did find the towel rack a touch too low for my liking, but it’s an easy fix—just move it up a bit, and you’re good to go. The bed is a champion; the mattress has that perfect mid‑firm feel that wakes you up refreshed, not flat. I love the little touches, too—there’s a small vase of dried lavender on the dresser, and the scent is enough to remind you of the city’s breezy seaside air.

If you’re planning to wander, the Dom & House is a prime launchpad. Take a stroll to the nearby Motława River and you’ll see the cranes that Gdańsk’s maritime industry has built for centuries. For lunch, head over to the tiny café on Św. Marcin Street; they serve the best żur (sour rye soup) with a side of rye toast. And if you’re staying in the summer, keep an eye on the sunset over the harbor—there’s nothing like watching the sky shift from amber to deep violet while sipping a glass of local amber beer. The place feels lived in, not staged, and that’s what makes it genuinely special.

  My stay at the Toruńska 20/59 DH apartment exceeded all expectations!
  From the very beginning, everything was organized at the highest level: the cleanliness was impeccable, the interior was stylish and thoughtfully designed — it felt like home (or maybe even better!). I especially loved the breathtaking view from the window — having morning coffee felt like a scene from a movie.
  
  The location is simply perfect: everything is nearby — the Old Town, restaurants, shops — yet it’s peaceful and quiet in the evenings.
  It was also a pleasant surprise to find that the apartment had everything you could need — from coffee and tea to an iron and hairdryer. You can really feel that guest comfort is a top priority here.
  
  Huge thanks to the Renters team for your professionalism and warm hospitality! I will definitely come back and recommend it to friends and family!

  Чисте, затишне, продумане до деталей приміщення. Була приємно вражена. Фото відповідають дійсності. Все що потрібно для комфортного перебування є. Поруч автобусна зупинка, яка дає змогу сполучення до бажаного місця й Żabka. 15 хвилин пішки вздовж каналу до Старого міста й інших пам'яток.

  Mieszkanie idealne dla singla lub dla pary. Bardzo dobry kontakt z obsługą. Była konieczność po zameldowaniu zgłoszenia zauważonych defektów w postaci zabrudzonych firan i braku klosza lampy nad łóżkiem, więc polecam sprawdzić po zameldowaniu czy usunięto te defekty,aby ktoś w przyszłości nie był obciążony i posądzony o ich uszkodzenie.
  Czystość na dobrym poziomie.
  Mieszkanie na 3 piętrze z windą. Budynek z całodobową ochroną.
  Mieszkanie wyposażone w zmywarkę (2 kostki do zmywarki na pobyt), pralkę (brak środków do prania lub kapsułek-polecamy zabrać jak planuje ktoś prać), mikrofala, małą lodówkę z zamrażarka i kuchenkę indukcyjna. Jest całe wyposażenie kuchni: garnki, mała patelnia, sztućce, noże, talerze, kubki, tarka, zaparzacze.
  Dodatkowo odkurzacz, suszarka na ubrania, wiadro, miotła (bez szufelki – ciężko coś pozbierać co się zamiecie).
  Brak balkonu. Okna na górze posiadają wywietrzniki które można regulować przesuwając obudowę. Na otwartych słychać nocą więcej hałasu. Trzeba zamykać jak komuś to przeszkadza.
  Największy minus to niewygodne w naszej ocenie poduszki oraz kołdry które mogłyby mieć kilka cm więcej na szerokości (typowo letnie).
  Telewizor najtańszy, bez super jakości obrazu, umiejscowienie telewizora i kanapy nie daje pełnego komfortu oglądania w dwie osoby. Ale przy tej wielkości mieszkania i tak to najlepsze rozwiązanie (mógłby być ewentualnie po drugiej stronie ściany i skierowany na łóżko). Ale nie po to jedzie się do Gdańska,aby oglądać TV 🙂
