Cozy Corner Gdansk Overview

When I first stepped off the tram in Gdańsk, I felt like I’d stumbled into a postcard—only this time, the postcard was a real place, and I was about to stay there. I was staying at Cozy Corner Gdansk on Mariana Seredyńskiego, just a block from the cobblestone lanes that lead to the Old Town, and honestly the first thing that caught my eye was the little garden tucked behind the building. It’s a quiet oasis of ferns and wildflowers, and you can hear the distant murmur of the Motława River from there—perfect for a late‑afternoon nap. The front desk staff were super friendly, greeting me with a quick “Cześć!” and a digital key that I could unlock straight from my phone. No long lines, no complicated paperwork, just a smooth, almost breezy check‑in that set the tone for the whole stay.

The rooms at Cozy Corner Gdansk are all about that blend of modern comfort and old‑world charm. I was in a double that had a balcony overlooking the courtyard, and the view of the little garden was a constant reminder of why this place feels like a home away from home. The bed was surprisingly plush—think memory foam with a generous layer of down, which meant I woke up feeling like I’d been sleeping on a cloud. The bathroom? It had a rain shower that made you forget you’re actually in a hotel, and the towels were a soft, fluffy cloud of white that practically whispered “you’re welcome.” I also appreciated that the Wi‑Fi was fast enough to stream a whole season of my favorite show, but not so fast that it felt gimmicky. The only thing that could have been better was the minibar—there were only a handful of snacks, and the local beer selection was limited to a single bottle. But honestly, the price was worth it, and the overall vibe of the room made up for the small shortcomings.

If you’re planning a trip during the spring or early summer, you’ll find Cozy Corner Gdansk to be a sweet escape from the crowds. The hotel is right on the edge of the Old Town, so you can hop over to the Gdańsk Crane or the European Solidarity Centre for a few hours and then return to the quiet of the courtyard. The street parking is a bit of a hassle—there are only a few meters of free street parking, and you’ll need to be quick, or you can opt for the paid lot just a block away (the attendants there are surprisingly helpful and know the best spots). The noise level is decent; the main street is lively but not overwhelming, and the building itself is sound‑proofed pretty well, so you can enjoy the city’s hum without the constant buzz of traffic.

What really makes Cozy Corner Gdansk stand out is the little touches that show the staff really know the area. I asked for a recommendation for a place to try pierogi, and they pointed me straight to a tiny, family‑run shop on Gdańska Street that serves them with a side of homemade sauce—so good, you’ll want to come back. The hotel’s breakfast spread was a mix of local pastries, fresh fruit, and a surprisingly good coffee that tasted like it was brewed in a small, aromatic bean shop rather than a hotel lobby. I left the hotel with a sense of having been part of the city’s pulse, and a feeling that I’d come home to a place that’s as comfortable and welcoming as any local café. If you’re looking for a spot that feels like a cozy corner of Gdańsk itself—warm, friendly, and full of little surprises—this is the place to book.

Big enough for two people, and fully equipped kitchen! Super cosy and comfortable, and very close to the old town but still in a quiet area.

The owners were so nice, and we had the best time!

  • Laura from Lithuania – 26 July 2022 (10/10)

The location is fantastic, the flat is very cozy, the bed on "the second floor" and the brick wall are gorgeous. I would love to live in such place 🙂
And the city… it's insanely beautiful, food is supergood everywhere, the prices are cool, the museums are perfect. I think we have to explore Poland more 🙂

What could be improved: Be careful about the parking – if you park the car behind the building – look at the signs. there are free places to park and the ones where you have to pay. we thought, that all the places are free, so we paid 100 zl fine 🙂
Also, there is a kindergarten under the windows, so if you keep windows open, you will hear children playing 🙂
Also i suggest to avoid Brzezno beach – it's super crowded, like wow, there are no free centimeter on the beach.

  • The from United Kingdom – 19 June 2022 (10/10)

The location is so close to everything – just a short walk away. The apartment is comfortable and very clean. A perfect place to go back to after a long day out, to relax. Great night sleep too!
