The front desk is surprisingly efficient, but I remember the night before my stay the staff were still putting a new look to the welcome area, so my check‑in was a bit delayed—nothing dramatic, just a quick chat with the manager who apologized and offered a complimentary drink. The rooms are a solid four‑star setup: clean, modern, and with a view that actually lets you spot the Motława River flowing by when the sun hits the glass. The rating’s a solid 8.7, and if you’re wondering whether that number does the hotel justice, I’d say yes—your experience felt polished but not over‑produced.

Walking out onto Chmielna, you’re basically in the middle of the city’s living room. You’ll find yourself a block away from the bustling Dlugi Targ, where the Gdańsk Crane still towers over the river, and you can hop onto the tram that’ll take you straight to the Old Town. I’m a big fan of the little cafés on Klucze and the street art on Skrzypcowa; you can grab a latte and a croissant and then wander up to the Jagiellonian Street for a quick photo of the cathedral. The hotel’s own back door leads onto a quiet courtyard with a few potted herbs—something that instantly puts you at ease when you need a break from the city buzz. You know what? The noise level is surprisingly low for a place so central; maybe it’s the building’s concrete walls or the fact that it’s tucked between a couple of apartment blocks. I was able to sleep through the night even though the evening markets were popping up just a few minutes away.

Parking is a bit of a mixed bag. There’s a small paid lot a couple of streets away, but if you’re willing to walk a few minutes, you can also find street parking. I found a spot on the corner of Chmielna and Wspólna, but you’ll have to be quick before the city’s traffic lights change. The hotel’s own parking is limited to guests and staff, so if you’re driving from out of town, you’ll need to plan ahead.   What could be improved: It's too bad that there is no mocrowave. Also there was no Air condition so it became a bit hot during nights when it gets hot during summer. Thinking of the price we paid I wish we had at least shower gel available.

  I really liked that it was centrally located, the apartment was comfortable and big.
  
  What could be improved: i chose the Deluxe apartment, so I expect at least shampoo or hand soap to be available. Also the amount of the deposit was alot. Almost 80USD. They took 10 USD Because one of the towels were dirty and couldn't be washed, when it actually was dirty because I cleaned the chairs on the balcony with it, it wasn't my fault.
  On the pictures it showed 2 toilets, but the apartment only had one. It was misleading.

  Perfect location across the street from Stare Miasto, nice interior, free underground parking. The kitchen is well equipped with everything needed for cooking, the beds are comfortable, the linen and towels are white and fresh. The personnel is very friendly and ready to help, easily reachable on the phone, messengers and in the office, which is located in the building next to the apartment. The safety deposit was needed upon booking, but it was quickly returned within 3 days from the check-out. Special thanks to the personnel for making the printouts of some documents we needed, and for letting us stay in the apartment a little longer on the check-out day.

  What could be improved: 1. Broken beds; 2. Provided information was incorrect, we tryed to enter someones else apartments and had a conflict, because they were living there; 3. Arrived until 8pm, but additional fee to secure "keys" were charged and details to pick up ourselfs keys were provided.

  The location was wonderful, the greeting was also very good. I got a call before the arrival and was asked a couple of questions that were aimed to improve my stay.
  
  What could be improved: The way apartment looked totally differed from those that were posted at booking. Also regarding the parking – you should book it in advance. And if you have a bigger car, let’s say or crossover or jeep, it might be a struggle to get through the parking gate since it is very narrow.
