Bursztynowy Apartament Gdańsk Śródmieście Stare Miasto Centrum Overview
Bursztynowy Apartament Gdańsk Śródmieście Stare Miasto Centrum sits right on the cobblestones of Mariana Seredyńskiego, a street so narrow you almost have to tiptoe to avoid bumping into the old wooden storefronts. I arrived around 3 p.m. on a Thursday – not the peak tourist rush, but still lively enough that you hear the distant hum of trams and the occasional shout from a street vendor selling pierogi. The front desk was surprisingly quick; the staff greeted us with a warm “Witajcie” and handed over a keycard before we could even finish our coffee. The lobby itself is a cozy mix of vintage lamps and minimalist décor, and there’s a small coffee machine that makes a surprisingly good espresso – I’m pretty sure it’s the locals’ favorite spot for a mid‑morning break.
The apartment I got was a compact but cleverly designed 2‑bedroom unit. The room feels airy thanks to the large windows that let in a gentle sea breeze from the Motława River – though you’ll notice the wind’s scent of salt and smoked fish drifting in. The bed is a king with a mattress that’s firm enough to wake you up at the right time, and the linens are crisp and soft, the kind of feel that makes you want to stay in bed all day. The bathroom is sleek, with a rainfall shower that’s surprisingly powerful for its size. I did notice that the kitchenette is tiny; the mini‑fridge is more a “cooler” than a fridge, so I had to freeze my breakfast in the communal freezer downstairs. Noise is usually a problem in this part of town, but the hotel has double‑glazed windows that keep the city’s chatter out, except for that occasional distant honk from the tram line – a subtle reminder that you’re right in the heart of Gdańsk.
When it comes to parking, the hotel’s underground lot is a lifesaver. There’s a paid space for a modest fee, and the attendants are friendly and quick, so you don’t lose a lot of time. The real advantage, though, is the walkability. From the lobby, it’s a 5‑minute stroll to the iconic St. Mary’s Church and the bustling Martwa Street, where you can grab a coffee from a little café that serves the best “śmietana” (cream). If you’re craving something local, head to the corner café on Gdańsk’s Stary Rynek – the barista knows exactly how you like your latte. In the evenings, the streets quiet down, giving you a chance to enjoy the warm glow of lanterns and the faint scent of fresh bread from the bakery on the corner. Honestly, the best part of staying at Bursztynowy Apartament Gdańsk Śródmieście Stare Miasto Centrum is that you get to experience the city like a local, with all its quirks and charms, without having to hunt for a place to stay. The only critique? The Wi‑Fi speeds are a bit sluggish when the city’s tourist season peaks, but that’s a minor inconvenience compared to the overall experience.
To book a hotel in Gdansk during major Baltic festivals, travelers need early planning as this historic Hanseatic city draws visitors eager to experience its amber heritage and shipyard history.

I have been to many and many hotels during the trips, and that is why I can surely say – THIS WAS THE BEST STAY EVER!
Everything was just so great and thoughtful!
Beginning with smell and ending with spaciousness of the apartment. And it's not a joke about the smell, because how many there were places where the smell of drainage made the discomfort. But in this apartment everything was clean, air refreshers.
The apartment was surprisingly wide (it cannot be understood by pictures) – two rooms, kitchen, bathroom. The décor is really beautiful and thoughtful. To be honest, I even made a huge amount of visual materials (photos and videos) for my brand. 🙂
The place is not far form the main channel, some 5-10 minuets. So really close to all the main tourism attractions.
Kitchen had all the supplies needed. There was even tea and coffee.
And there was few questions during the arrival, but the host answered really fast and clearly.
What could be improved: None!Diana-gabriela from Romania – 26 August 2024 (8/10)
Beautiful apartment and many facilities. Good communication with the host and accessible location.
What could be improved: The apartment it situated in an old building, on a hallway which is shared with another apartment of residents with children.
The building looks awful and quite creepy and the neighbours’ children were very loud. The apartment’s floor was also very squeaky.
The “free” parking is behind the building, with limited spaces, next to the garbage dumpsters and some not-friendly looking neighbours. We chose to park in front and pay the parking fee, so we did not benefit from the free parking because it felt unsafe.Ian from United Kingdom – 7 August 2024 (10/10)

The apartment itself is perfect; clean, comfortable, well-equipped and spaced. You can find all necessary shops near, also public transport (bus. tram) is about 5 minutes walk. City center can be reached in 10 minutes by walk.
What could be improved: The house and its surrounding is a bit scary and dirty. Especially if you want to park behind the house, where very special group of people has meeting during warm months. On the other hand: no car was harmed, so it's fine.Ajin from India – 22 February 2024 (9/10)
Ambience is awsome

Apartment really nice and clean. You can find everything you need: coffee, tea, herbs for making food and etc. There was a nice greeting suprise.
What could be improved: The only problem was parking. It's free behind building if you can find a place, if you don't you have to pay for it.
