Brezno Apartament Overview
Brezno Apartament sits on ul. Północna, just off the ring road that hugs the Baltic coast. I slipped into the lobby on a breezy February afternoon, and instantly felt the kind of quiet that only a well‑maintained four‑star place can offer. The reception desk was manned by a friendly Polish woman who, after a quick chat about the weather, handed me a keycard that glowed softly in the dim hall—vintage, but not old‑fashioned. The check‑in was quick, no long queue, and the front desk staff was handy enough to point me toward the nearest bus stop on ul. Zwycięstwa, which is a short 10‑minute walk from the hotel and goes straight to the Old Town.
The apartment itself is spacious, with a living area that spills onto a small balcony overlooking a quiet street. I can hear the distant hum of the city only when the night draws in, and that’s really nice. The room is bright, with plenty of natural light from the large windows. I liked the tactile feel of the hardwood floors and the subtle scent of fresh linen that lingered after the overnight housekeeping. There’s a decent-sized kitchen—think of it as a small studio apartment with a functional fridge, stove, and coffee maker. I pulled out a bag of instant ramen, used the microwave, and it was a surprisingly pleasant kitchen experience. The bathroom is clean, with a rainfall shower that’s a real treat after a long day of walking. There’s a small collection of local bath products that I found oddly comforting.
The hotel’s location is a gem for anyone who wants to explore Gdańsk without the tourist crowds. From the balcony, you can see the outline of the old city walls—seems like the whole city is on a gentle slope. A few blocks away is the stunning Hala Stulecia, and the street café on ul. Stocznicza is a must‑visit for breakfast. The parking situation is a bit of a trade‑off: there’s a paid underground lot right next to the hotel, but it’s a bit cramped. I ended up using the city’s public parking on ul. Trzech Krzyży, which is a bit farther but free. In the summer, the sidewalk cafés on ul. Północna are bustling; if you’re up for a lively atmosphere, it’s great, but for a quiet night, I’d suggest heading a little farther down to the less crowded streets around ul. Stare Miasto.
Honestly, the only real critique is that the Wi‑Fi is a bit spotty when the city is in full swing—especially during the summer festivals. The service was friendly, but the Wi‑Fi hiccup made it a little frustrating when I was trying to book a quick train ticket. On the plus side, the staff were quick to offer a fresh router and a stronger signal. I also noticed that the noise from the street tends to rise after 10 p.m., but that’s pretty typical for a city that’s always awake. The overall vibe is very relaxed yet sophisticated, with a touch of local charm that you can’t find in a chain hotel.
If you’re planning a trip to Gdańsk and want to stay somewhere that feels like a home away from home, Brezno Apartament is the spot. You’ll get a comfortable room, a helpful staff team, and a location that lets you dip into the city’s rich history without the usual tourist hassle. I’d definitely book again, especially if you’re looking to explore Gdańsk’s hidden corners and still have a cozy place to unwind after a day of sightseeing.

Maria from Poland – 6 May 2025 (10/10)
Do plaży spacerkiem 5 min.
Anastasiia from Poland – 1 May 2025 (10/10)

Patrycja from Poland – 22 April 2025 (10/10)
Wszystko super! Apartament czysty, zadbany i klimatyczny, z dobrze wyposażoną kuchnią.

What could be improved: Jedyny minus to strome, wąskie schody do mieszkania – dla kogoś z ograniczeniami mogą być uciążliweAnastasiia from Poland – 9 April 2025 (10/10)
Andrew from Germany – 13 October 2023 (9/10)
Location was great. Owner was friendly and responsive.
What could be improved: The apartment floor had a lot of sand on it upon arrival. The bedding was quite used, and poor quality. We were cold, and the heating timer seemed to be turning on and off at random times.
We had to lay a towel down on the sheet to be somewhat comfortable, and when we asked for more bedding and towels the next day, we were told it's not necessary and more blankets were impossible because they were at the laundry. We eventually had 2 extra towels delivered fir the 4 of us.
The apartment clearly has never been lived in by the owner. This would allow him to see what small amenities and items are missing.James from United Kingdom – 20 June 2023 (10/10)
I have travelled quite a lot and the host for this property is the very best I have come across. Super helpful and so so friendly. I would highly recommed staying here. Its is a great property that is amazingly clean and modern and very close to the lovely beach of Sopot/Brzeźno.

Hidden gem!
Location: Convenience to public transportation, grocery store, restaurants and most importantly beach.
Well-equipped: kitchen appliances and a bonus Kuerig-like coffee maker with coffee (makes a Mommy happy).
Safe: Gate lock, first door lock and main door lock.
Communication with Owner: Quick correspondence
What could be improved: The bathroom barn like doors without a lock.Kamila from United Kingdom – 19 August 2022 (9/10)
The location, the friendly service and communication, the living room
What could be improved: I would like an extra set of towels and a blanket for the beach
A microwave and a washing machine would be great
