Parking is a bit of a gamble—there’s a paid lot on the 3rd floor, but it’s usually full during the summer. If you’re early, you can grab a spot in the underground garage on Gdańsk Street, but be prepared to walk a few minutes. The breakfast buffet is authentic, with a selection of Polish pastries that melt in your mouth, and the coffee is strong enough to keep you up for the whole day of sightseeing.

What I loved most about Blue Mandarin Island is how it bridges the old with the new. The staff is genuinely friendly; one of the receptionists told me about a secret pier that’s only open on weekends, which turned out to be a hidden gem. The hotel’s proximity to the St. Mary’s Church is great—just a 10‑minute walk, and you can wander around the cathedral’s bell tower before the crowds arrive. The only slight downside?   The handwash/shower Jel provided was not enough for the whole stay.

  The apartment was awesome. It was spotless clean. And it looked so beautiful and peaceful. The windows faced west, so you'd get sunrays in the evenings. The house was great value for money.
  The location was good; 6-7 minutes on foot away from the Chmielna tram/bus stops.
  
  What could be improved: The supermarket Zabka nearby was so small and did not have all the groceries. I had to go to the Carrefour express (almost 12 minutes away on foot) to buy all that I needed.
  The air conditioning in the living room did not have enough power to cool down the room. But it was still ok in the 24 deg.C weather.
