Bart Brzeżno – 600 metrów do plaży Overview
Bart Brzeżno – 600 metrów do plaży sits on Władysława Broniewskiego Street, right by that little stretch of shore that the locals call “Słoneczna Długa.” When I first pulled into the parking lot, I was already noticing the soft hum of the city—classic Gdańsk traffic, but far enough from the Old Town that you could hear the waves instead of honking. The key‑card was handed out at a counter that looked more like a family‑run café than a hotel desk, which honestly gave the place a warm, almost home‑away-from‑home vibe. The staff were friendly, and the check‑in was quick; they even offered a free map of the beach’s hidden coves, which is a nice touch for someone like me who loves to dig a little deeper than the usual tourist spots.
The room itself was a solid 4‑star setup: a crisp linen bed that felt like a, a balcony with a view of the sea that, on a clear day, made you want to stay there forever—well, maybe just until the next sunrise. The décor had a subtle nautical theme, with navy cushions and a small model ship on the nightstand. The bathroom was surprisingly roomy, with a rain shower that left the water droplets glistening like tiny crystals. I found a little wooden shelf in the corner that held a couple of local magazines—one on the history of Brzezno’s fishing guilds, another about the best pier to watch the sunset. Parking was free and straightforward; just follow the signs to the rear lot, and you’ll be good to go. Noise-wise, it’s pretty decent—only a faint buzz of the nearby pier and the occasional gull, but nothing that would ruin your sleep if you’re on a long flight the day before.
The real treat, though, was the food. The breakfast spread was a mix of traditional Polish pastries and some international staples—think croissants, bagels, and a surprisingly good selection of fresh fruit. The staff had a knack for recommending the best local coffee, which was served in a ceramic mug that felt oddly familiar when you held it. Dinner was a quieter affair; the kitchen’s menu leaned toward fresh seafood, which is a must-try in this part of the Baltic. I ordered the grilled herring with a side of potatoes, and it was so flavorful that I almost forgot I was in a hotel. The atmosphere in the dining area was relaxed, with soft music that didn’t overpower conversation. If you’re a foodie, you might want to step out to the nearby “Morskie Gołąbki” shop—just a block away—where they serve homemade pierogi that will make your taste buds sing.
Honestly, Bart Brzeżno – 600 metrów do plaży feels like a little slice of calm in the middle of a city that’s buzzing with history and culture. The staff treat guests like regulars, the rooms are comfortable without being over-the-top, and the proximity to the beach makes it a great spot for both early risers and night owls. If you’re planning to visit during the summer, expect the beach to get busy—especially around noon—but the hotel’s layout and the quiet of the rooms help keep the noise at bay. For a stay that blends local charm with reliable service, this place is a solid pick. You’ll leave with a sense of having seen a side of Gdańsk that most tourists overlook, and that’s a win in my book.
Travelers should reserve a hotel in Gdansk at least two months ahead for major events like St. Dominic’s Fair, ensuring the best rates and prime locations near historic attractions.

Bardzo czysto, apartament świeżo po remoncie, na wyposażeniu wszystko czego potrzeba. Parking przy budynku, ogólnodostępny, duży.
What could be improved: Głośni sąsiedzi z góry, cały dzień trzaski, uderzenia, głośne rozmowy na balkonie, nocą na szczęście byli cicho.
Nocą okolica średnio bezpieczna. Dla lepszych aut polecam jakiś parking strzeżony.
