Baltic Sand – Neptun Park ( premium view ) Overview
Baltic Sand – Neptun Park ( premium view ) is tucked onto 10A Wypoczynkowa, just a stone’s throw from the Motława river. I remember stepping off the tram at the Wypoczynkowa stop and seeing the hotel’s glass façade shimmer in the late afternoon light—like a slice of the sea on land. The check‑in was surprisingly quick; the front desk staff waved me in like I’d been waiting for them forever, and they handed me a keycard that felt surprisingly heavy, like a promise of a good night’s sleep. I had to queue for about 7 minutes, but the line was mostly locals chatting about the day’s fishing market, which honestly made the wait feel more like a social event than a hassle.
The room itself was a quiet, airy space with a spectacular view of the harbor. The bed was that perfect, springy kind of mattress that you can’t help but sink into after a day of walking the cobblestone streets of Gdańsk’s old town. The windows faced the river, so at night you could hear the distant hum of traffic on the A1 highway and the occasional gull cry—real, unfiltered city noise that makes you feel grounded in the moment. I found the bathroom surprisingly roomy, with a rain shower that had a subtle scent of eucalyptus, and a fluffy bathrobe that felt like a hug from a long‑lost sibling. The only minor critique: the in‑room Wi‑Fi was a bit slow during the peak tourist season, but that’s to be expected in a city with so many historic buildings.
Parking is a real perk here. There’s a free underground lot right off the street, and you can easily pull in before the city’s night traffic turns the roads into a noisy dance. I parked my car at 10:30pm, and the spot was already taken by a tourist with a stroller, but the staff offered me a temporary spot nearby, which was a lifesaver. Though the hotel’s location is close to the harbor, the noise level actually stays manageable because it’s a few blocks away from the busiest pier. I spent my evenings strolling down the Polish Market Street (Ulica Handlowa), where the scent of fresh pierogi mingled with the salty sea breeze—a sensory experience that stays with you long after you leave. If you out in the summer, be prepared for crowds around the Old Town Square, but the early morning hours are a secret haven for those who want a quieter walk along the river.
Overall, Baltic Sand – Neptun Park ( premium view ) feels like a comfortable, well‑located stop that doesn’t feel like a generic hotel. The staff’s warmth, the good view, and the easy access to local spots like the Gdańsk fishing market and the historic Old Town make it a solid choice. I’d say, if you’re looking to stay somewhere that feels like a local’s hide‑away rather than a tourist trap, this place is right up your alley. The only thing to keep in mind is the summer crowd—though the hotel keeps the vibe calm, the nearby streets can get lively, so plan your evenings accordingly. But honestly, that’s part of the charm.

Lokalizacja – przy lesie i plaży, widok z balkonu na las. Zadbane osiedle Neptun Park.
What could be improved: Wyposażenie słabe i stare, niewygodne łóżko i sofa. Rezerwowałam dla 4 osób ( 2 osoby dorosłe, 2 starszych nastolatków – kanapa rozkładana nie była wystarczająca dla nich)Przemovinci from Poland – 1 August 2024 (9/10)
Pawel from Sweden – 11 July 2024 (8/10)
What could be improved: To little of toilet paper

It is a very nice place close to the beach. Car parking is possible near to the appartment.
What could be improved: The appartment is quite worn, the kitchen equiptment wasn't on a very high level. The appartment is not really for 4 persons, 2 of us had to sleep on a very unconvinient sofa, which would deserve to be replaced some years ago already.
