Apartamenty Sun & Snow Old Town Gdańsk Overview
First Impressions
Walking into any of the Apartamenty Sun & Snow Old Town Gdańsk locations, you immediately get that “I’m staying somewhere special” feeling. These aren’t your typical hotel rooms — they’re actual apartments scattered throughout Gdańsk’s historic center, each one thoughtfully designed with that perfect balance of modern comfort and old-world charm. The four-star property really knows what it’s doing when it comes to location, and honestly, that 9.5 location score makes complete sense once you step outside your door.
Location & Neighborhood
Here’s the thing about staying in Gdańsk’s Old Town — you’re literally living inside a postcard. The apartments are positioned throughout the historic district, which means you might find yourself on a cobblestone street one night and near the famous Neptune Fountain the next, depending on which unit you’re assigned. I mean, couples absolutely love this setup (they’ve rated it 9.6 for romantic trips), and it’s easy to see why. You can walk to St. Mary’s Church in minutes, grab pierogi at a local spot without dealing with tourist traps, and actually feel like you’re experiencing authentic Gdańsk rather than just visiting it.
The Apartment Experience
What really sets these apartments apart is the space — you’re not cramped into a standard hotel room, but actually have room to spread out and live a bit. Each unit comes with a proper kitchenette, which is honestly a game-changer when you want to grab some local ingredients from the nearby markets and cook something simple. The decor strikes that sweet spot between contemporary and cozy, with enough character to feel distinctly Polish but modern enough that you’re not sacrificing comfort. You know what I particularly appreciated? The attention to details like good lighting and comfortable seating areas where you can actually relax with a book or plan your next day’s adventures.
Exploring from Your Doorstep
The beauty of staying at Apartamenty Sun & Snow Old Town Gdańsk is that everything worth seeing is practically outside your window. The Royal Way, with its stunning merchant houses and amber shops, becomes your daily walking route. You can stroll to the Motława River waterfront in the evening when the crowds thin out, or duck into one of the traditional milk bars for an authentic Polish breakfast without having to navigate public transport or expensive taxis. The location really does the heavy lifting here — you’re saving time and money just by being so centrally positioned.
Why Guests Love It
People keep coming back to this property because it offers something most hotels can’t — the feeling of actually living in Gdańsk rather than just passing through. The combination of apartment-style space, unbeatable location, and that 8.7 guest rating speaks to consistent quality across all their different units. Whether you’re here for a romantic weekend (and trust me, couples really do love these apartments) or exploring the city’s rich history, you’re getting authentic local living with all the conveniences you need. It’s the kind of place where you’ll find yourself planning your next visit to Gdańsk before you’ve even checked out.
Hotel in Gdansk booking should be done early, especially during summer festivals when the city hosts internationally celebrated cultural and maritime events.

Reviews of Apartamenty Sun & Snow Old Town Gdańsk
Kathryn from United Kingdom – 25 May 2025 (9/10)
Excellent location, excellent facilities M, superb apartment
What could be improved: Would benefit from blackout curtains in the bedroom.Tom from Poland – 19 April 2025 (9/10)
The location was great 🙂
Cosy apartment and good communication with the company.
The mattress is on the hard side, with planty of pillows and blankets.
The shower was with hot water and good stream.
What could be improved: The toilet sit is very low and cramped, so won't be comfortable for everyone.
The faucet and sink are not convenient.
The chairs in the living room are very wobbly and feels quite flimsy.
2nd floor without elevator.Róbert from Slovakia – 13 April 2025 (9/10)
The apartment is located in the city center, very near the main street, but this street is very quiet. The kitchen is equipped with a lot of accessories, so there is no problem with cooking anything. A washing machine and a dishwasher are a big bonus if you have children. It was a pleasure to stay at this place for 1 week.
What could be improved: We booked a transport from the airport, but Booking.com gave the taxi driver the wrong address (it was another apartment of the company Sun & Snow). So we spend an extra 20 minutes riding to the right place, but the taxi driver was very kind and helpful to our family.Tijana from Montenegro – 8 October 2024 (9/10)
Location is perfect. Big apartment, very clean, cozy, modern, with a lot of interesting details. New building. If I ever come back to Gdansk, I will stay at same place. Comunication with host is very nice.

Great location. Good size and safe.
What could be improved: Too much noise from the apartment on top and coming from the entrance's door.
Bathroom towels need replacement.Ola from Sweden – 3 August 2023 (5/10)
Location
What could be improved: No warm water, rude staff, bad instructions to the propertyAlex from Germany – 31 July 2023 (9/10)
Great location and communication with the company. Positives for us were that we were able to do an early check in and they had a washing machine which we were able to utilize.
What could be improved: Our apartment was street level in a busy part of the city so it can get noisy. Also the blinds do not really block out the light and it is bright in the day and also at night due to the street lighting.Danielle from United Kingdom – 2 November 2022 (9/10)
This apartment is in a great location and less than a five minute walk to the old town centre or the waterfront area.
Alartment is spacious and the beds are very comfy
What could be improved: the shower curtain doesn’t fully fit in the shower so it tends to leak a LOT of water on the floor in the bathroom which can make it smell a bit damp.
