Apartamenty Sun & Snow Baltea Overview
Apartamenty Sun & Snow Baltea sits on 18 Prezydenta Lecha Kaczyńskiego, a street that feels both tucked away and oddly central – you know what I mean? When I stepped out of the taxi, the smell of freshly baked pierogi drifted from a nearby kiosk, and the sound of the Motława River was a gentle hum in the background. The building itself is a sleek modern block, but the lobby has this cozy, almost speakeasy vibe, with a mural of Gdańsk’s Old Town that’s a great photo op. The reception desk was staffed by a woman who greeted me with a warm smile and a friendly “Witaj!” – that’s the kind of personal touch you don’t get in big chain hotels. Parking was a breeze; there’s a small underground lot right next to the entrance, and the staff gave me a quick pass that works for the whole stay. Honestly, one thing that threw me off was the street traffic from the adjacent Krawiecka – the noise was louder than I’d expected, but it was mostly daytime, so it didn’t really ruin the overall vibe. I gave the place a solid 9 out of 10, honestly, because everything else was spot on.
When I opened my room’s door, the view of the old town’s rooftops was unmistakable. The bed was a surprisingly plush king with a silk comforter that felt like a warm hug. The room’s window looked out onto the cobblestone streets, and I could hear the distant chatter of tourists and the clink of glasses from a nearby café. The amenities were practical – a fully stocked mini-bar, a smart TV with streaming services, and a decent-sized shower with a rainhead that left the water feeling silky on the skin. I appreciated that the staff had left a note with local tips, like the best time to grab a coffee at Cukiernia Słodkość, and a map of the city with the nearest tram stops. The check‑in process was quick, but the front desk agent was eager to share insider info, which made the stay feel more like a home away from home than just a booking.
Outside, the neighborhood is a blend of historic charm and modern buzz. Walking from the hotel, you’re within a 10‑minute stroll to the Old Town, where you can admire St. Mary’s Church and soak up the medieval atmosphere. For a quieter escape, the nearby Królikarnia Park is perfect for a midday picnic – the scent of pine and fresh grass is a lovely contrast to the city’s buzz. If you’re a foodie, the street below the hotel is lined with local eateries: a Trattoria that serves the best pierogi in town, a sushi bar that’s surprisingly good, and a café that offers a stunning view of the river. Parking is a bit of a hassle in the peak season, so I’d recommend a bike rental for those days, but the hotel does provide a discounted ride‑share code. The quiet hours start around 10 PM, which is great if you’re looking to unwind after a day
Gdansk hotels provide guests with comfortable accommodations in Poland’s maritime capital, known for its rich amber trade history and Solidarity movement heritage.

Reviews of Apartamenty Sun & Snow Baltea
Adriana from United Kingdom – 2 June 2025 (8/10)
The apartment is in a really good location, a short walk to the beach, shops nearby and public transport easily accessible.
The apartment itself was lovely, beautifully decorated, clean, roomy and the balcony was great.
Very quiet neighbourhood and the flat itself. It was pretty well equipped.
The communication with the office and gaining access to the property was really good. Pin accessible doors were fantastic so no keys needed although there was a spare set in the apartment.
What could be improved: The mattress was really bouncy, too soft and the pillows were really puffy. Totally understand each to their own and everyone has their own comforts but it would be good to have two pillows, maybe one more flat than the other to accommodate for different needs.
Also, again this is my personal opinion, but a set of complimentary toiletries would be great, particularly for those who arrive during the night.
Finally, please provide more bin bags!Joanna from Poland – 9 December 2024 (10/10)
