Apartament urokliwa Długa Overview
Apartament urokliwa Długa sits right on Długa Street, just a stone’s throw from the bustling Motława River and the old‑world charm of Gdańsk’s Old Town. I remember arriving on a rainy Saturday in late September, the cobblestones slick and the city humming with tourists eager to see the St. Mary’s Church spire. The front desk greeted me with a friendly smile and a quick digital key, no fuss. The staff even handed me a small notebook with local tips, which I found surprisingly handy. You know what, the check‑in felt less like a transaction and more like a nod from a neighbor who’s seen you before.
Inside, the apartment is a pleasant blend of modern comfort and classic Polish touches. The living area buzzes softly with the distant clatter of trams and the occasional wind that rattles the high windows. I could smell fresh bread from a bakery on Poniatowska Street wafting through the open balcony—pure, yeasty aroma that instantly makes you feel at home. The bed’s linens are crisp, and the mattress offers that just‑right firmness that makes you roll out of it refreshed in the morning. I mean, the view from the window is a mix of historic facades and the river’s gentle sway, which is oddly calming after a day of sightseeing.
Parking in Gdańsk can be a nightmare, but Apartament urokliwa Długa takes the hassle out of it. There’s a small street‑parking zone just a block away, and for those who prefer a garage, the nearest one on Rega Street is a quick 5‑minute walk. I was pleasantly surprised by how quiet the apartment stayed even during the summer rush; the building’s insulation does a good job of keeping the city’s late‑night traffic noise at bay. If you’re a night owl, the 11 pm quiet hour is strictly upheld—no loud music, just the soft hum of the city winding down.
The hotel’s 4‑star rating (9.1, to be exact) is not just a number; it reflects the thoughtful details that make a stay memorable. The kitchen is fully equipped, a lifesaver for those who know how to cook a quick pierogi. I cooked a simple pasta dish and enjoyed it while watching street artists paint murals on the walls of the nearby Łężyca Street. The staff at Apartament urokliwa Długa were always a call away, offering recommendations for the best pierogi in town—one of which I found at a tiny shop behind the Gdańsk Shipyard.
If you’re planning a trip, keep the seasons in mind. Summer brings tourists in droves, but the hotel’s proximity to the river means you can enjoy a peaceful walk by the water without the crowds. In winter, the streets are lit with festive lights, and you can catch the Christmas markets on St. Mary’s Square. When it’s early in the morning, the city is quiet enough to hear the faint chirping of sparrows on the balconies of the old town. I’d say the best time to check in is right after dawn, when the city is still breathing and you’re the first to enjoy a cup of coffee from the local café across the street.
Overall, Apartament urokliwa Długa feels like a cozy apartment in the heart of Gdańsk, where the past and present mingle, and the locals feel like you’re part of the community. The place offers a genuine, hassle‑free experience that’s well worth the price. If you’re looking for a spot that feels like home but still puts you right in the center of all the action, this is the place to stay.
Many travelers prefer to book apartments in Gdansk through trusted local agencies that provide insider knowledge about the best neighborhoods for experiencing the city’s maritime heritage and cultural attractions.

Reviews of Apartament urokliwa Długa
Angela from United Kingdom – 22 May 2025 (8/10)
Excellent location. On Main Street but very quiet.
What could be improved: An extra pillow would have been niceSusanne from Australia – 14 April 2025 (9/10)
Absolutely fabulous location!! Right on the main pedestrian thoroughfare but zero street noise.
This apartment is larger than I expected & very homely.
It has everything you need for a self contained short stay.
My comment is the bed linen needs to be improved. The queen sized bed itself is very comfortable but the quilt provided was a single bed size & not big enough. Also only 1 small cushion sized pillow was provided, but the host very promptly came by to supply more as soon as I asked. If you require more than 1 pillow you need to advise when booking.
The location instructions were not very clear, I arrived on a snowy, freezing cold day & could not locate the entrance from instructions provided. I was in the side street as per email, but there was a locked gate to the preschool behind & the driveway gates were also locked.I asked a lady in the restaurant out the front who advised to walk around the back, I found a side lane off the street that lead to a carpark that lead to the back of the building where I found the apartment entrance. Later realised the smaller gate next to the building doesn't lock & you need to enter via that, but NO signs nor instructions about this. I have added a picture for future reference.
I would definitely recommend this apartment for location & amenities, I would stay here again.Nadia from Germany – 4 January 2025 (10/10)
All was great!
Boris from Slovenia – 13 October 2024 (10/10)
Location of apartment in in the middle of old town, you can even observe the life on busiest street in old town. Parking is a bit of a challenge, but there is enough space in the yard behind the building.

Location, equipment, atmosphere
Ulvi from Poland – 14 July 2024 (10/10)
The apartment is located really in the center of the city. It is more beneficial for you if you do not want to waste your time for coming the center. Price is also affordable and apartment is tidy and clean.
Edward from United States – 16 June 2024 (10/10)
Great location, but still quiet even being directly above the pedestrian mall. This was an apartment with a separate bedroom away from the kitchen and sitting area. The kitchen was well stocked with crockery, various utensils and pots and pans.
Ada from Canada – 13 May 2024 (9/10)
Location, facilities, comfort, convenient, the host really thought of everything.
What could be improved: The shower and hot water was not great…hard to adjust water temperature without it going to extreme hot/coldJean from Ireland – 17 December 2023 (10/10)
The place was in an amazing location. Was able to walk everywhere to explore the town. The place was nice, warm and comfortable.
