For lunch, I took a detour to the small pierogi spot on the Motława River – the dumplings were made fresh, and the aroma of smoked fish filled the air. The hotel’s location isn’t “convenient” in a generic sense; it’s more like a secret pocket of calm in a bustling heart. The locals will tell you that the best coffee is just two blocks away at a tiny café called “Kawa i Książka,” where the barista knows everyone’s name. If you’re traveling during the festival season, the streets get crowded, but the hotel’s windows keep you out of the most hectic crowds, letting you breathe in the city’s slow rhythm. For quiet hours, I recommend staying out of the busy market streets after 10 p.m. – the city tapers off nicely, and you’ll have a peaceful night’s sleep. I’d say that Apartament – U Wujka is a perfect blend of old‑world charm and practical comfort, especially for those who want to feel like a local rather than a tourist. It’s the kind of place that makes you want to linger over a cup of coffee long after your stay is over.

  Bardzo fajne mieszkanie. Dużo pokoi, co jest ogromnym plusem. Właściciel bardzo miły i pomocny, szybko odpowiada. Polecam dla większej grupy! Dwie łazienki to strzał w dziesiątkę. Nasz pobyt tam był naprawdę bardzo przyjemny! Jeśli kiedyś jeszcze będę w Gdańsku większą grupą chętnie ponownie się tu zatrzymam.
  
  What could be improved: Kuchnia jest malutka (ale funkcjonalna). Trafiliśmy na czas remontu balkonów, więc balkonu po prostu nie było. Trzy pokoje mają okna na ulicę, więc jest głośno przy otwartym oknie. Ale jak są zamknięte to jest ok, cicho. Podsumowując, zdecydowanie więcej plusów niż minusów!
