Apartament Seventh Heaven Overview

Apartament Seventh Heaven is tucked away on Partyzantów 10/31, right on the seventh floor of that sleek glass block that dominates the skyline of Gdańsk’s modern district. I arrived around dusk, the city’s lights already flickering like fireflies, and the check‑in was surprisingly breezy—no long line, just a couple of friendly staff members who gave me a quick digital key app and a quick rundown of the building’s elevator quirks (the elevator takes a breath before each floor, you know?). I mean, the whole building feels like a high‑tech capsule, but the actual room—well, that’s where the charm is. The windows offer a panoramic view of the Motława River, and you can see St. Mary’s Church’s spire peeking over the rooftops, a subtle reminder that the old and new are living side by side here. I could hear the distant hum of traffic from the nearby Przeróbka street, but the room itself is a hushed sanctuary, the only noise a faint buzz from the fridge and a city lullaby.

I opened the curtains, and the smell of fresh coffee—yes, the in‑room machine is a decent one—mixed with the faint scent of the sea that wafts in from the river. The bed was a soft, almost plush, with linens that felt like a gentle hug. The ensuite was surprisingly spacious for a city apartment; they’re all about that 4‑star vibe without the hotel feel. I took a bath in the shower, and the water was warm, not too hot, giving that spa‑like vibe that I didn’t expect from an apartment. The Wi‑Fi was lightning‑fast, which is essential when you’re trying to catch up on the latest news about the Gdańsk Shipyard. I should mention the parking—there’s a small underground lot right next to the building, and they let you park for the night without any hassle, which is a huge win if you’re staying for a few days. The only small hiccup was that the elevator was a tad slow, especially after a busy day, but honestly, it’s a small price to pay for the skyline view.

The real kicker was the breakfast. It wasn’t a fancy buffet; it was a simple spread of local pastries, yogurt, fresh fruit, and, best of all, a cup of Polish coffee that was strong enough to wake you up after a night of partying in the Old Town. I took my breakfast on the balcony—yes, that apartment actually has a balcony—and watched the sunrise over the city. The noise level is pretty decent; it stays quiet after 10 p.m., so you can actually get a good night’s sleep, which is rare in this part of town. If you’re thinking of exploring, just hop on the tram at the nearby Przeróbka stop (it’s a 5‑minute walk), and you’ll be in the heart of the Old Town in no time. The building’s location is not just “convenient”; it’s practically on the brink of the city’s pulse, with the Motława and the old fish market just around the corner.

All in all, staying at Apartament Seventh Heaven felt like being part of the city’s modern life while still being anchored to its historic roots. The staff were friendly, the room was cozy and surprisingly spacious, and the location is a sweet spot between the buzzing nightlife of the Old Town and the calm of the river. If you’re looking to immerse yourself in Gdańsk without the hotel hoteliness, this place is the answer. And if you’re wondering whether the noise is a deal‑breaker, trust me—the city’s hum is more of a lullaby than a buzz, especially after the evening rush. So pack your bags, bring your curiosity, and let the city’s rhythm guide you through a stay that feels both new and timeless.

  • Katarzyna_l from Poland – 27 July 2023 (10/10)

Nowoczesny, świetnie położony apartament. Pomysłowo zaaranżowana przestrzeń wspólna – zatem nawet przy złej pogodzie można wspólnie spędzić czas. Apartament posiada miejsce parkingowe w garażu podziemnym. Serdecznie polecam!

What could be improved: NIe było takiej rzeczy.
