Apartament Scandia Gdańsk Overview
I stumbled into Apartament Scandia Gdańsk on a crisp autumn afternoon, the kind of day when the city feels like a living postcard. The building sits on Lecha Kaczyńskiego 30K/12, just a few blocks from the cobblestones of the Old Town, and you can almost hear the distant clink of glasses from a nearby tavern—though honestly, the noise inside is just a low hum of conversations and the occasional laughter from the lobby. The check‑in was a breeze; the front desk staff were friendly and quick, and they even slipped me a map of the best noodle spots in the neighborhood—talk about a warm welcome. The apartment itself feels like a cozy nest; the walls are lined with local art, and the window frames the view of the Motława River, where the boats drift lazily at sunset. I mean, the view alone makes you want to linger over coffee, and the scent of freshly brewed espresso from the tiny kitchen fills the room with that comforting aroma of home.
Moving on, Apartament Scandia Gdańsk really shines when you start exploring the city. I walked down the street to the nearest tram stop, and the route led me straight to the heart of the Old Town—Long Market, St. Mary’s Church, and those historic wooden houses that look like they’ve been plucked straight out of a fairy tale. The hotel’s location is perfect for late‑night wanderers, too—just a short walk to the lively bars around Gdańsk’s city center, yet the building itself is tucked away enough that you don’t feel the full roar of nightlife. Parking is a mixed blessing: if you’re driving, you’ll find a few meters of street parking, but the hotel’s own paid lot is a bit pricey and a little cramped; still, it’s convenient if you’re not planning to venture far. The soundproofing is decent, but if you stay during the peak tourist season, keep an eye on the lobby’s steady stream of guests; it can get crowded, especially around the bar area.
Finally, the little touches that make Apartament Scandia Gdańsk feel like more than just a place to sleep are what kept me coming back. The linen is crisp, the towels plush, and the toiletries have a subtle Polish citrus scent that’s not overpowering—well, at least not too strong for my taste. I noticed that the staff left a note on my nightstand with a recommendation for a hidden gem café on Gdańsk’s Krakowskie Przedmieście street; the place served the best latte I’ve had since I was in Berlin. And while the hotel is rated 9.6, there’s a tiny critique: the Wi‑Fi drops a bit during rush hour, so if you’re a digital nomad it’s best to plan your work around the quieter late‑night hours. All in all, Apartament Scandia Gdańsk
Many travelers prefer to book apartments in Gdansk through trusted local agencies that provide insider knowledge about the best neighborhoods for experiencing the city’s maritime heritage and cultural attractions.

There was everything what needs for a stay. The personnel was amazing, very friendly, welcome and supportive. The sea is not far away from the apartment. The place is quite calm, neat. Everything corresponds to the description.
What could be improved: Maybe in the future there could be a microwave because sometimes it's difficult or even impossible to reheat some type of food in the oven.
