For those who love history, a short walk will bring you to the Gdańsk Shipyard and the Museum of the Second World War, both open daily. I did mention that the hotel’s 4‑star rating is justified, but don’t be fooled – it’s still a local spot that offers a more authentic experience than the big chains. The only real critique I have is that the bathroom tiles are a little worn after a few years, but the housekeeping staff is quick to replace them. All in all, staying at Apartament Plaża 41 felt like having a home base that’s close to everything a traveler would want, without the generic tourist trap feel.
