The building might look pretty standard from the outside, but once you’re in, it’s clear someone put real care into making this place work for travelers.

Location That Actually Makes Sense

Here’s the thing about staying in Gdańsk — location is everything, and this place nailed it. I mean, recent guests rated the location a perfect 10.0, and after spending time there, I get why. You’re close enough to the Old Town that you can easily walk or take a quick tram ride, but far enough out that you’re not dealing with tourist crowds right outside your window. The Piastowska area has this nice residential feel where you can actually get a sense of how locals live. Plus, there’s a decent grocery store nearby if you want to grab supplies — which you’ll definitely want to do given the kitchen setup.

The Space Itself

The room — well, it’s really more of a proper apartment — feels like someone’s well-maintained home rather than a sterile hotel space. The kitchen is actually functional, not just some tiny corner with a mini-fridge and a prayer. I made coffee every morning and even cooked a simple dinner one night using ingredients from the local market. The whole place has this clean, modern vibe without being cold or impersonal. Storage space is generous too, which matters when you’re staying more than just a night or two.

The Practical Stuff

Let me tell you about the parking situation — because if you’re driving in Poland, this matters a lot. They’ve got free private parking right on site, which honestly saved me probably 20-30 euros compared to what I would’ve paid for street parking or garages in the city center. No circling blocks looking for a spot, no feeding meters, just pull up and you’re done. The whole check-in process was smooth too, though I did appreciate having WhatsApp to communicate with the hosts when I had questions about the heating system.

Why Guests Love It

That 9.1 rating isn’t just numbers on a screen — it reflects how this place gets the details right. Couples especially seem to love it here, and I can see why. There’s something about having your own space, being able to make morning coffee in your pajamas, and not having to deal with hotel breakfast schedules that just works for a romantic getaway. The neighborhood is quiet enough for good sleep but connected enough that you don’t feel isolated. It’s the kind of place where you can actually settle in for a few days and feel like you’re living in Gdańsk rather than just passing through it.

  Ekstra lokalizacja, zaledwie 10 min spacerem do plaży. Bardzo ładne, dobrze rozplanowane mieszkanie. Wygodne łóżko w sypialni 🙂 Kuchnia bardzo dobrze zaopatrzona, wszystkie sprzęty działały, co umożliwiło nam przygotowanie posiłków dla dziecka. 🙂 Właściciel bardzo miły! 🙂 Koniecznie musimy tu jeszcze wrócić! 😍

  Location is perfect – near to bus/tram stops, close to beach (10-15 minutes walking distance). Close to local stores.
  
  What could be improved: The apartment is located on the last (4th) floor in the building with no elevator. May be difficult to climb the stairs for elders. There is almost no any free wall outlets to charge your appliances (one double outlet in the bedroom and one double outlet in the kitchen).
