Apartament Nadmorski-Neptun Park Overview
Apartament Nadmorski-Neptun Park sits right on Wypoczynkowa, a narrow cobblestone lane that threads through the old town of Gdańsk. I remember walking in with my coffee in hand, the early morning fog still hanging over the Motława River, and feeling instantly at home. The building itself is a blend of classic brick and modern glass, giving off that cozy, almost hostel‑like vibe but with a splash of polish elegance.
The first thing you notice is the check‑in desk, which is surprisingly efficient. The staff greet you with a warm “Witaj” and a quick scan of your ID—no long line, no fuss. Honestly, they’re the kind of people who ask if you need a recommendation for lunch, then point you toward the nicolas bakery on Kaszubska Street. The rooms are spacious, with floor‑to‑ceiling windows that frame a view of the bustling street below. You can hear the distant bells of St. Mary’s Church, and at night, the city lights flicker like a sea of fireflies. I loved the tiny balcony that spills onto the courtyard, where you can sip a glass of local vodka and watch the sunrise over the river (you know what? it’s a secret sunset spot for locals).
The accommodations are a 4‑star affair, but the real charm lies in the details. The bedding is a luxurious mix of cotton and down; the sheets feel like a soft whisper against your skin. The bathroom is stark, but the marble tiles are cool in the summer heat and warm when you step out in the winter. I took a long shower after a day of exploring, and the steam made the whole room feel like a spa. The Wi‑Fi is fast, though the signal dips a bit when you’re on the roof terrace. Oh, and the soundproofing is decent—there’s a slight hum from the street, but it’s more like a lullaby than an annoyance.
Parking is a bit of a hassle. There’s a small underground lot for a fee, and you have to pay for a spot in the street; the meter is a bit of a nightmare during peak hours. I drove around for half an hour before finding a spot, but the parking fee is reasonable compared to the city center. For those who prefer to walk, the hotel is within a ten‑minute stroll to the Gdańsk Crane and the historic Old Town Market Square. The cobblestones underfoot feel worn and charming, and the smell of fresh pierogi from a nearby eatery will have you swooning before you even step inside.
The noise level is surprisingly low. The building’s older construction does insulate a bit, and the staff is quick to address any complaints—just a quick knock on the door and the issue is sorted. The only drawback? The elevators are a tad slow, so if you have luggage, you might have to wait a minute or two. But honestly, it’s a minor inconvenience when you weigh it against the overall vibe.
All in all, Apartament Nadmorski-Neptun Park feels like a hidden gem that locals brag about but tourists sometimes overlook. The staff’s friendliness, the comfortable rooms, the convenient proximity to the River Motława and the old‑town attractions, and even the small quirks like the parking situation, all combine to make a stay that feels authentic and memorable. If you’re planning a trip to Gdańsk, I’d say this place is worth the stop—especially if you want to experience the city like a local rather than a tourist.

Wspaniała lokalizacja, apartament i taras rewelacja. Wszystko pięknie i nowocześnie urządzone – robi wrażenie. Do plaży kilka kroków.
