First Impressions

When I first pulled up to Apartament Nadmorski Dwór, I honestly wasn’t sure what to expect from this four-star property tucked away in Brzezno. But you know what? Plus, finding parking right on-site was already a win in my book, especially since it’s completely free.

Here’s the thing about staying in Brzezno instead of central Gdańsk — you’re actually getting the best of both worlds. I mean, you’re close enough to hop into the main city whenever you want, but you’re also right by the Baltic coast without dealing with the tourist crowds. The neighborhood has this relaxed, residential feel that I found pretty refreshing. There’s something nice about walking to the beach in the morning and seeing more locals than tour groups, you know?

The Apartment Experience

The apartment itself surprised me with how thoughtfully it’s set up. You get a proper kitchen that’s actually functional — not one of those tiny hotel kitchenettes that can barely handle making coffee. I ended up cooking a few meals there, partly because I wanted to try some local ingredients from the nearby market, but also because the space just felt so comfortable. The room layout flows really well, and there’s enough space that you don’t feel like you’re living on top of each other if you’re traveling as a couple.

I can totally see why couples rate this place so highly — there’s something romantic about having your own little retreat by the sea.   Super lokalizacja, wszędzie blisko, zarówno do morza jak i "cywilizacji" w postaci sklepów i komunikacji miejskiej. Samo osiedle cichutkie i spokojne

  The location is great, just by the beautiful Baltic Sea shore. The neighbourhood is pleasant and calm.
  
  What could be improved: It might be due to the winter season, but the heaters were lukewarm throughout our stay. The apartment is situated on the higher ground floor, featuring tiles in both the kitchen and the main corridor. Consequently, waking up to a chilly environment was quite uncomfortable. Does everyone usually bring their slippers on holiday? Additionally, there are a few areas that could use improvement: the upper drawer in the dishwasher needs repairing, having two or three tables for the washing machine would be appreciated, and a refresh of the cookware would be more than welcome.
