The only thing that caught my eye was the slightly squeaky doorbell, but it’s a minor quirk that adds character.

Parking is a bit of a puzzle – there’s no dedicated hotel lot, so you’ll need to look for street parking on Szeroka or the side streets. I found a spot a block away, but it was a bit tight, so I’d advise arriving early if you’re driving. Noise-wise, the apartment is surprisingly quiet, even though it’s right on a busy street. The only real buzz comes from the occasional street musician or the distant chatter of tourists around the Old Town. If you’re a night owl, you might hear a few late‑night conversations drifting through the windows, but it’s nothing that would keep you up. The check‑in time is 3:00 pm, but I asked for early check‑in and the staff were accommodating – they let me drop my bags off and explore the city before the official time. Overall, Apartament MARIA feels like a home base that’s both connected to Gdańsk’s pulse and still a calm retreat. I’d definitely recommend it to anyone who wants to soak up the local vibe without sacrificing comfort.

  I absolutely loved this place! The location was fantastic, with a great view from the apartment. It was right in the center, making everything easily accessible. The apartment had everything one could need and more, even extra toothbrushes and toothpaste in case you forgot. Comfy beds. Maria was lovely and gave us a quick tour upon arrival. If I ever return to Gdańsk, I would definitely stay here again!

  Apartment is located in city center, everything is comfortably reachable by walk.
  Grocery shops and restaurants are on the same street as accomodation, if you feel lazy, but there are plenty different options nerby.

  Awesome host, awesome location. Appart location right in the center, you can reach any location in old town by foot. Also it's equipped with everything you will need and more. Very pleasant host. Private parking in the yard with no cost.
