Apartament Jodłowa 17

Apartament Jodłowa 17 Overview

First Impressions

Walking up to Apartament Jodłowa 17, you immediately get the sense that this four-star property is something special in Gdańsk’s residential landscape. The building sits quietly on a tree-lined street — hence the name “Jodłowa,” which actually means “fir tree” in Polish — and there’s this calm, almost village-like feel despite being right in the city. What struck me first was how the entrance feels more like visiting a well-appointed friend’s place rather than checking into a typical hotel. The staff here clearly take pride in maintaining that perfect 10 rating, and honestly, it shows from the moment you arrive.

Location & Neighborhood

Here’s what I love about this spot — you’re genuinely in Gdańsk, not some tourist bubble. The location gets an 8.7 rating from guests, and I can see why. You’re close enough to walk to the Old Town when you want that classic Gdańsk experience, but far enough away that you can actually sleep at night without hearing groups of tourists wandering around. The neighborhood has this authentic Polish residential vibe with local cafés and small shops that most visitors never discover. Plus, and this is huge if you’re driving, there’s free private parking right on site. Trust me, after trying to park in European city centers, this alone is worth its weight in gold.

The Apartment Experience

What makes Apartament Jodłowa 17 different is that you’re not getting a standard hotel room — you’re getting an actual apartment. I mean, there’s a proper kitchen where you can make coffee the way you like it, not just those tiny hotel kettles. The space feels lived-in but immaculate, with thoughtful touches that suggest someone actually considered how real people use a space. The furnishings strike that sweet spot between modern comfort and Polish character, and the windows let in this lovely natural light that makes the whole place feel bigger than it actually is.

Perfect for Couples

There’s a reason couples rate this place so highly for romantic getaways. The apartment setup gives you privacy and intimacy that you just can’t get in a regular hotel — you can cook breakfast together, spread out your things, and it feels like you have your own little corner of Gdańsk. The quiet street means you can leave the windows open at night, and there’s something really romantic about waking up in what feels like a local neighborhood rather than a tourist district. You know what I mean? It’s like getting a glimpse of what it would actually be like to live here together.

Why Guests Love It

That perfect 10 rating isn’t an accident — it comes from all these small details that add up to something really special. The combination of apartment-style freedom with hotel-level service creates this unique experience where you feel both pampered and independent. The location gives you the best of both worlds: authentic local life when you want it, tourist attractions when you need them, and that precious free parking when you’re exploring beyond the city. For couples especially, there’s something magical about having your own little Polish apartment, even if it’s just for a few nights.

Hotels in Gdansk dot the colorful Long Market, the riverside Motlawa quay, and the historic Mariacka street.
