This four-star apartment sits in Brzeźno, which is basically Gdańsk’s seaside neighborhood, and you can actually smell the Baltic Sea from here. The building itself has that clean, modern Polish coastal vibe — nothing too fancy, but everything feels well-maintained and purposeful.

Location That Actually Delivers

Look, I’ve stayed in plenty of places that claim to be “near the beach,” but this one genuinely delivers on that promise. You’re literally a few minutes’ walk from the sand, which means you can grab your morning coffee and be watching the waves before most people have even checked their phones. Gdańsk proper is easily accessible too — the tram connections from Brzeźno are actually pretty reliable, so you’re not stuck choosing between beach time and exploring the old town. The parking situation is refreshingly stress-free, which anyone who’s driven around Polish coastal areas in summer will appreciate.

The Space Itself

The room setup works really well for couples — I can see why it gets such high marks from pairs traveling together. There’s enough space to spread out without feeling like you’re rattling around in something too big, and the kitchen area is actually functional (not just decorative like some places). The windows let in plenty of natural light, and honestly, the whole place feels more like staying in a friend’s well-appointed flat than a typical hotel. The furnishings strike that sweet spot between comfortable and stylish without trying too hard.

Neighborhood Character

Brzeźno has this relaxed, almost residential feel that I really appreciate — it’s not overrun with tourist traps, but there are enough cafes and local spots to keep things interesting. The beach here tends to be less crowded than some of the more central Gdańsk waterfront areas, which means you can actually find a decent spot to sit even during busy periods. There’s a nice walking path along the coast that connects to other parts of the city, and I found myself using it more than I expected — it’s one of those simple pleasures that makes a stay memorable.

Why Guests Love It

That 9.2 rating makes sense once you’ve been here for a day or two. It’s the kind of place that gets the basics absolutely right — clean, comfortable, well-located — without any unnecessary complications. The combination of being genuinely close to the beach while still having easy access to Gdańsk’s attractions is harder to find than you’d think. Plus, there’s something refreshing about staying somewhere that feels authentically Polish rather than generically international. You know what really sealed it for me? Being able to walk to the beach for sunrise, then come back and make proper coffee in a real kitchen — that’s the kind of simple pleasure that makes a trip feel special.

  Great apartment with two separate double bedrooms, one had extra full bed. Additionally unfolded sofa in the living room. Comfortable beds, available towels and fully equipped kitchen. Our favourite part was the location and proximity to the beach and amenities. Hosts were very nice, available and accommodating. Great place for short or longer stay.
  
  What could be improved: Not a drawback but I assume that the shower room will be next for renovation as other parts are nicely upgraded already.
