Apartament Ap175 Overview

Apartament Ap175 sits on ul. Świętej Barbary, a cobblestone stretch that curls around the old town’s heart. I arrived just after the tram screeched past the old harbor, and the first thing you notice is the tiny bell that rings for every guest—it’s a little ritual that feels like a secret handshake. The check‑in desk is near a window that frames the Motława River; you can almost hear the distant gulls and the clatter of fishing boats. The staff were quick and friendly, handing me a keycard that glows neon green in the dim hallway—an odd, almost retro touch that sets the vibe. Parking is a bit of a hustle; there’s a small paid lot behind the building, but if you’re okay with two blocks of narrow streets, you can park on the sidewalk and walk the 5‑minute stroll to the Crane and St. Mary’s Church. Honestly, the streets are a bit tight, but that’s part of the charm—every corner feels like you’re stepping back in time.

I dropped my bags in the room, and the first thing that hit me was the crisp, salty air that drifts in from the river, mixed with the faint scent of freshly baked rye bread from the bakery on St. Clement’s Square. The room is cozy, about 25 square meters, with a balcony that offers a window onto the bustling street below. The bed is surprisingly big for a 4‑star place, and the linens feel like a hug. The bathroom is compact but spotless, with a rainfall shower that feels like a mini spa—though the water pressure is a tad low, which is a minor gripe. The kitchenette is fully equipped; I made a quick espresso and a slice of local rye bread, and the coffee machine is the kind that whirs into life with a satisfying hiss. There’s a small fridge, a microwave, and a kettle that boils almost instantly—super handy after a day of exploring.

Breakfast is a local affair: a spread of cold cuts, cheese, and a selection of homemade pastries at the lobby café. The staff hand out a small card with a map of nearby spots—someone pointed me to the hidden courtyard behind the old grain warehouse, where a street artist paints murals that change with the seasons. After breakfast, I walked to the Old Town Market; the stalls buzz with vendors selling fresh fish, pierogi, and the unmistakable smell of grilled kielbasa. I stopped at a corner café that serves the best latte in town, and the barista gave me a friendly nod—locals know that place by heart, and trust me, it’s worth the extra minute of waiting.

Evening fell quiet, the usual ambient noise of the city softened to a low murmur. The hotel’s location meant I could stroll to the “Żuraw” Craneside and watch the sunset over the river, while the neon lights of the city reflected off the water. The only real noise came from the nearby tram line—an occasional rumble that reminds you you’re in a living city, not a resort. I left early the next morning, the room still smelling faintly of coffee, and the city still humming. I’d recommend staying at Apartament Ap175 if you want a blend of historic charm and modern comfort, and if you’re okay

Reviews of Apartament Ap175

  • Reetta from Finland – 21 May 2025 (10/10)

Location was perfect, really central place and close to the old town, but still very quiet. Many restaurants nearby.

What could be improved: Some people having party in the same building on Friday evening, which created some noise.

  • Agnieszka from Poland – 18 October 2024 (10/10)

Perfect location just next to main attractions (accessible by foot) but also convenient exits to express road or city bypass.
Comfortable apartment with everything you need for a week stay. Not on ground floor, very light and warm in autumn, in a new building. Dedicated space in underground garage!
It was our second stay. Despite that a year passed, the quality remained the same. No feeling of worn off flat. Very well maintained. We are coming back next year, too! 🙂

  • Lindsay from United Kingdom – 2 January 2024 (10/10)

Top of the range, sumptuous, tasteful, everything thought of, including special bottle for New Year. Plenty of storage space, super comfortable bed and sofas, good soundproofing. Also one of the most expensive places we've stayed in, but worth it for a special occasion.

  • Agnieszka from Poland – 21 October 2023 (10/10)
