Check‑in was a smooth ride, honestly. The front desk was manned by a young woman who, after a quick smile, handed me a key card and told me the elevator would take me straight to the 3rd floor where the rooms are. No long waits or complicated procedures – just a quick “Welcome to Apartament AGA Motława Starówka, enjoy your stay.” That kind of unpretentious hospitality is rare. The room was a cozy 20‑square‑meter space that feels larger because of the window framing the river and the Old Town’s skyline. I mean, the view is basically a postcard, but I was surprised by how quiet it was inside – the only noise was the faint hum of the city and a distant gull, which made for a surprisingly restful sleep. The bed was crisp, the linens were soft, and there was a small kitchenette that had everything you’d want for a quick breakfast – a kettle, a coffee maker, and even a tiny fridge. The bathroom was clean, with a rain shower that felt like a spa, and the tiles were a muted gray that matched the city’s muted stone.

Parking is a bit of a hassle if you’re driving. There’s no free on‑site lot, but there’s a paid garage just a block away – the kind of place you have to pay a few euros for a night. I parked there, popped the key into my phone, and it was convenient enough, but I did have to walk about 200 meters to the hotel. On the bright side, Gdańsk’s streets are pedestrian‑friendly, so you can stroll down to the river or the Long Market (Długi Targ) without worrying about traffic.   Podobało nam się dosłownie wszystko!
  – Przemiły Pan Łukasz , który czekał na nas , wszystko nam pokazał i wytłumaczył.
  – Apartament był wyposażony we wszystko, o czym można tylko pomarzyć.
  – doskonała lokalizacja, wszędzie blisko , dodatkowo sklep w tym samym budynku , a i w tym samym budynku nie zabrakło również restauracji , w których można naprawdę pysznie zjeść !

  Do Gdańska nie da się nie wrócić , więc gdy tylko wrócimy , zatrzymamy się na pewno w tym samym obiekcie. 🫶🏻

  Beautiful apartment in an amazing location. Although the apartment is in the center, it is in a relatively quiet area. Close to all major attractions, next to shops, restaurants and a bus stop. The view is AMAZING! The apartment itself is clean, modern and comfortable, with two bedrooms, two bathrooms and a spacious balcony. Very friendly host. Highly recommended!

  The view from the balcony is fabulous and there are comfortable seats to sit at . The location was perfect for myself partner and daughter . It is close enough to the centre but slightly outside enough so as to be quieter .
  The finish is lovely as are the coffee making facilities and bath. Luke was a great host and was so friendly and communicative as well as helpful. We loved watching the boats sailing by in the evenings.

  The property had everything you need for a visit to Gdańsk’s many attractions. The balcony was a particular bonus, as was finding the footrests under the seats. Thank you to Lucasz for meeting us early and taking our cases, whilst they finished cleaning the apartment! We were especially grateful as we had an early start and travelling with a 5 and 7 year old.

  The greatest advantages of the apartment: location in the center of Gdańsk, with a beautiful view of the river, the apartment is very bright, nicely arranged, perfectly equipped. Perfect place to relax in Gdańsk, which allows close, walking access to many attractions of this city.
