There’s a proper kitchenette where you can make coffee in the morning or heat up some pierogi from the local market (trust me on this one). The bed is comfortable enough that I didn’t wake up with a sore back, and there’s decent storage space for your stuff. What I really appreciated was how quiet it gets at night — you’re close enough to the action but far enough away that you can actually sleep.

Location That Actually Works

Here’s the thing about the location — it’s genuinely excellent, and I’m not just saying that because the recent guest ratings hit 9.7. You’re about a 15-minute walk to the Old Town, which means you can easily stroll over for dinner without dealing with tourist crowds right outside your door. The Motława River is practically around the corner, and honestly, some of my best moments in Gdańsk were just walking along the waterfront in the early morning before the city woke up. There’s also decent parking nearby if you’re driving, though I’d recommend just walking everywhere once you’re settled in.

The WiFi actually works (shocking, I know), the shower has good water pressure, and the whole place feels clean without that sterile hotel smell. I stayed here with my partner, and we had plenty of space to spread out without getting on each other’s nerves. The restaurant scene in the neighborhood is solid too — there’s this little Polish place two blocks over that locals actually go to, not just tourists.

Look, this isn’t going to blow your mind with over-the-top amenities or Instagram-worthy views. But sometimes that’s exactly what you want — a comfortable, well-located base where you can recharge between exploring Gdańsk’s shipyards, amber shops, and waterfront bars. The 7.2 rating feels about right — it’s good, solid accommodation that does what it promises. Couples seem to really get it (the feedback backs this up), probably because you get that cozy, private feeling without paying premium prices. If you’re looking for a place to actually live in Gdańsk for a few days rather than just crash, this works.
