This four-star property sits right in the heart of Gdańsk‘s Old Town, and honestly — the location alone makes it worth considering. The building has this understated elegance that doesn’t scream for attention, but you know you’re somewhere special. I mean, when couples consistently rate the location 9.8 out of 10, that’s telling you something about how perfectly positioned this place is.

Location & Neighborhood

Here’s what I love about staying here — you’re literally steps away from everything that makes Gdańsk magical. The Main Town’s cobblestone streets, those iconic colorful townhouses along the Motława River, and the famous Neptune Fountain are all within easy walking distance. You know what’s great? You can actually hear the city waking up in the morning, but it’s not overwhelming noise. The Tartaczna location puts you close enough to dive into the action whenever you want, but far enough from the main tourist drag that you’re not dealing with crowds right outside your door.

The Suite Experience

The apartment itself feels more like a well-appointed city room than a typical hotel space. There’s something refreshing about having actual living space to spread out — especially if you’re planning to stay more than just a night or two. The design strikes this nice balance between modern comfort and Polish character, though I wouldn’t call it flashy. What really works is the attention to practical details that matter when you’re actually living in the space, not just sleeping there.

Daily Life at the Property

One thing that surprised me was how quiet everything stays, even though you’re right in the center of things. The staff seems to understand that people choose this place because they want to experience Gdańsk like locals do — they’re helpful without being hovering, if that makes sense. The whole setup encourages you to settle in and explore the city at your own pace. You’ll find yourself popping back during the day between sightseeing, which isn’t something you’d bother doing if you were staying further out.

Look, the 8.8 rating speaks for itself, but what really stands out is how this place works for different types of travelers. Couples obviously love it (hence that 9.8 location score), but I can see why anyone wanting to really experience Gdańsk would choose to stay here.   Location is perfect very close to the old town. Coffee, tea, sweets, bottle of water and other bits and pieces in the kitchenne.
  Bathroom is OK however needs some maintenance and cleaning.
  
  What could be improved: This apartment is really tiny, the bed is in a kind of closet making it feel quite claustrophobic.
  It needs some tlc and deep cleaning.
  It was extremely heated (floor heating) making sleep uncomfortable.

  Great location, easy self check in & generally clean on the whole. Comfortable, good amenities and exactly how described. In a nice, safe building with a shop at the bottom of the building.
  
  What could be improved: We went to Gdańsk during a heatwave and it was 28-30 degrees. Unfortunately the room was extremely hot which made it difficult to sleep at night. There was a fan but it didn’t do much sadly. Whilst this was not the fault of the property owners, the property would really benefit from an air conditioning unit. A few of the towels also didn’t smell great which was slightly off putting.

  What could be improved: Felt pressured to give time when vacating the property she messaged night before then early morning , we were vacationing at 9 as we had train to catch but felt we did have till 12

  Perfect location, 10/15 minutes walk from Neptune Fountain, 15/20 minutes to main railway station. Quiet area, even with a nightclub nearby and the seagulls sometime.
  
  What could be improved: Luckily just my son and I, would be a bit cramped with 4 adults, especially with the sofa bed out.
